Benton has lost five in a row in this series, averaging eight points per game. But the Panthers improved their offensive attack in the off-season with senior quarterback Dylan Harris throwing the ball regularly. Senior Tamario Beaugard (9.3 yards per play in 2010) and junior Wallace Foote (1,021 yards and nine touchdowns) return in the backfield.
Bryant, which trails Benton in the overall series 13-24-1, has outscored Benton 164-42 since 2006. The Hornets feature a potent backfield as well with junior QB Hayden Lessenberry (1,254 yards passing and six TDs in 2010), senior RB Karon Dismuke (6.9 yards per carry) and junior RB Jalen Bell.
