HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 8 Bryant at No. 6 Conway.
Bryant is likely Conway's final hurdle to winning back-to-back 7A Central titles. Conway rallied to beat North LR 20-17 two weeks ago and won at LR Central 26-14 last Friday. Conway quarterback Tyler Langley completed 14 of 22 passes for 209 yards last week. Bryant is also 3-0 in league action but must still play at North LR and host to LR Central. The Hornets rallied in the fourth quarter to beat Russellville 38-21 last Friday when Karon Dismuke carried 17 times for 201 yards. Last season Bryant upset Conway 34-30 in double overtime. Hootens.com had Bryant ranked No. 7 and Conway No. 3 when they met in 2010.
Hooten's Arkansas Football airs 7:30 p.m. Thursdays on KARZ (Z42 in Little Rock), Suddenlink Cable 22 in Northeast Arkansas and On Demand in Northwest Arkansas (Cox Ch. 644). A preview of this week's games can also be seen on hootens.com homepage.
Hootens.com correctly predicted nine of 10 winners (90 percent) in games involving Class 7A schools, nailing the spread on Springdale Har-Ber by 7 over Rogers and FS Southside by 25 over Springdale. For the season, hootens.com is 53-12 (82 percent).
