4A STATE TITLE GAME
No. 1 Shiloh Christian vs. No. 2 Pulaski Academy
Shiloh Christian returns to the state title game for the fifth straight season (10th time in the past 14 seasons). The Saints have applied the 35-point sportsmanship rule to every Class 4A opponent they've faced this season, including last week's 56-12 victory over Pulaski Robinson. The Saints, who've won 34 straight home playoff games, scored a pair of defensive touchdowns in the first 2:11 against Pulaski Robinson. Senior quarterback Kiehl Frazier, who has committed to Auburn, has completed 138 of 218 passes (63 percent) for 2,656 yards and 38 touchdowns with just eight interceptions this year. Frazier, a finalist for the State Farm Awards Class 4A Offensive Player of the Year, has rushed for 1,112 yards and 19 TDs and averages almost 44 yards per punt.

Senior Garrett Harper has returned to full strength after being slowed by injuries last year and early this fall. Harper has gained 2,221 all-purpose yards this year, including 1,291 yards rushing. Senior receiver Zann Jones, a four-year starter, has caught 62 passes for 1,305 yards and 22 scores. He's caught 54 career TD passes, just one shy of tying the state record.

A veteran, explosive defensive line helps the Saints give up fewer than 180 yards and 16 points per game. Senior lineman Sam Harvill, a finalist for the State Farm Awards Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year, has made 114 tackles this season (38 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks). A four-year starter, Harvill owns the state career sack record with 38.5. Senior linemen Troy Goss and Ryan Hyde are three-year starters. Goss has collected 87 tackles and 10 sacks this year, while Hyde and made 31 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Senior linebacker Colt Thomas paces the Saints with 132 tackles, including 22 for loss. "Every coach I've talked to, and that includes 7A coaches in Northwest Arkansas, say this is the best offensive and defensive line they've seen," said Pulaski Academy coach Kevin Kelley.

Pulaski Academy makes its fourth title game appearance in eight years. The Bruins blasted Star City 56-28, jumping to a 22-point lead in the first quarter. Junior QB Fredi Knighten has completed 253 of 393 passes (64.4 percent) for 4,011 yards and 49 TDs this year, and he's rushed for 798 yards and seven scores. Senior running back Greyson Skokos paces Pulaski Academy's running attack with 1,085 yards and 12 TDs, and he's caught five TD passes. Senior receivers Garrett Lamb (64 catches, 1,172 yards and 17 TDs) and Zac Reyna (64 catches, 1,033 yards and 10 TDs) ignite the Bruin passing attack.

The Bruins surrender 269 yards and 23 points per game. Freshman Tyler Colquitt tops Pulaski Academy's tackling chart with 145 stops. Junior safety Aum'Arie Wallace has racked up 110 tackles, while senior lineman Dirk Tanner has recorded 99 tackles, including 17 for loss and eight sacks. Tanner, a finalist for State Farm Awards Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year, has committed to Louisiana Tech. "They are talented and have speed at lots of positions," said Shiloh Christian coach Josh Floyd. "They do some unorthodox things-like onside kicks and not punting-that makes you spend extra time in practice preparing for them."

Comparing common opponents and margins of victory: Shiloh Christian beat Farmington, Nashville and Pulaski Robinson by a combined 145-22 points this year, while Pulaski Academy beat those three teams by a combined 150-86.
