HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 8 HS Lakeside at No. 2 Camden Fairview
Hot Springs Lakeside won its three nonconference games for the first time since starting 4-0 in
2000. The Rams failed to make the playoffs that season. But the Rams are playing with energy
and confidence for first-year coach Jared McBride. "We never imagined we would be 3-0 at
this point," McBride said. "We are still at the base as far as installing our offense and defense.
We wish we could do more, but we're putting in a little more every week."
Hot Springs Lakeside junior Ajalen Holley has ran 16 times for 110 yards and two
touchdowns this season, caught 14 passes for 262 yards and two scores and returned a punt
for a TD. Senior running back Dennis Brunson paces the Ram rushing attack with 429 yards
and a pair of TDs. Junior middle linebacker Harlan Jones paces the defense with 24 tackles,
while outside linebacker Elliott George has made 23 tackles. Defensive lineman Houston
Hunter has racked up three sacks.
Camden Fairview slipped past Watson Chapel 37-36 a week ago. The Cardinals rely on senior
quarterback Brandon Keaton (343 yards passing this year) and receivers Sed Porchia (11
receptions, 144 yards and two TDs) and Dominique Reed (14 receptions, 164 yards and two
scores). "I'm sure (Hot Springs Lakeside) is excited at the chance to play us," said Camden
Fairview coach Buck James. "They do a few things on offense, but they do them well."

anyone. The Panthers lost five straight games between 2004-2008 by a total of 21 points, before
the Bulldogs blasted Siloam Springs 56-18 last season. Greenwood senior QB Stephen Hogan
has completed 53 of 76 passes for 629 yards and six TDs this year.
Harrison at GREENBRIER (7): Greenbrier's only win over Harrison came in Week 9, 1997.
