Charleston Coaching Staff

Offensive Coordinator – Matt Stewart
Matt Stewart has served as Charleston’s offensive coordinator since 2019, guiding the Tigers to an explosive attack that averaged 41 points per game last season. A former Tiger standout, Stewart played quarterback and linebacker on Charleston’s 2005 state championship team before graduating in 2006. He has been on staff since 2012 and has deep roots in the program. Stewart and his wife, Rachel — a teacher and junior high cheer coach — have two children, Daeton and Maelee, who are both students at Charleston.

Assistant Coach – Tyler Reese
Tyler Reese joined the Charleston staff in 2016 and has been a steady presence ever since. A 2011 graduate of Heber Springs, Reese has brought energy and consistency to the Tigers’ sideline. He and his wife are raising their young son, Graham, and are expecting a daughter, Lottie.

Assistant Coach – Bryson May
Bryson May came to Charleston in 2022 after a successful playing career at Booneville, where he helped the Bearcats capture the 2013 state championship before graduating in 2014. He brings toughness and championship experience to the Tigers’ coaching staff. May and his wife are parents to three boys: Major, Madden, and Maverick.
