No. 8 Nashville (1-2) at No. 2 ARKADELPHIA (3-0): Nashville has won 12 of the past 20 in the series, but Arkadelphia won 42-12 a year ago. Undefeated Arkadelphia has taken down Class 5A Camden Fairview and Hot Springs and Class 6A Lake Hamilton by a combined 15 points. Arkadelphia rallied in the fourth quarter 2 weeks ago to beat Lake Hamilton 36-28. Defensive standout Quentavion Morris caught the go-ahead touchdown with 6 minutes left, as the Badgers rallied from a 13-point second-half deficit. Blake Moody ran for 3 TDs, and quarterback Bryston McCoy threw 2 TD passes. Nashville beat improved Hope 47-20 in Week 1 before losing 2 weeks ago at No. 1 Dardanelle 28-26. QB Jacoby Hopson ran for 213 yards and 2 TDs at Dardanelle, and Tucker Dixon ran for 163 yards and 2 TDs. “Field position will be important,” Nashville Coach Brad Chesshir says. “Their defense will be the best we see all year.”

NR Gentry (3-0) at No. 4 ELKINS (2-1): Elkins senior RB Connor Hamm (22-151-5 TDs) powered the Elkins past Class 5A Harding Academy 44-14 a week ago. Hunter Smith ran for 55 yards and 1 TD, and led the defense with 4 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 fumble recovery. Gentry is undefeated and averaging 21.0 points. Senior QB Talan Williams has passed for 585 yards and 6 TDs this fall; senior Tylan Owl (8-106 yards), Owen Foreman (9-127-2 TDs) and Noah Palacio (11-102-2 TDs) top the receiver charts.
NR PRAIRIE GROVE (0-3) at NR Green Forest (2-1): Winless Prairie Grove allows 37 points per game. The Tigers surrendered 268 yards rushing in last week’s 41-12 setback to Coweta, Okla. Green Forest beat Class 3A Greenland 42-26 a week ago. RBs Ywa Hay Moo and Gabe Serna each ran for 2 TDs. The Tigers scored a defensive TD when Casey Jones stripped the ball from Greenland’s QB and fell on it in the end zone for a TD.
NR BERRYVILLE (3-0) at NR Huntsville (1-2): Huntsville has won 17 of the past 22 in the series, but Berryville won last fall 21-6. Huntsville has 2 wins since October 2022, both vs. West Fork (8-6 last year, and 50-0 last week). Berryville is 3-0 for the first time since 1992. Junior QB CT Hicks passed for 200 yards and 4 TDs, and ran for 77 yards and 1 TD in last week’s 42-22 win over Yellville-Summit, while Jason Alvarado ran for 95 yards and 1 TD. Kobe Garcia led the defense with 9 tackles, Andre Esparza had 4 tackles, 2 interceptions and 1 blocked field goal.
No. 15 GRAVETTE (2-1) at NR Lincoln (2-1): Gravette must bounce back after losing 2 weeks ago at Durant, Okla. 24-0. The Lions mustered 157 yards (94 passing, 63 rushing). Junior Payton Burnett led the defense with 11 tackles; Austin Wolf had 8 stops and 1 fumble recovery. Lincoln beat West Fork 2 weeks ago by a score of 47-14 after defeating Greenland 26-25 in the opener.

NR LONOKE (1-2) at NR Forrest City (1-2): These teams have split the past 2 meetings (Forrest City won 30-18 in Week 1, 2023; Lonoke won 35-0 last season). Forrest City’s Kevin Young sprinted 89 yards for the winning TD in the final minute last week in a 58-56 decision at Rivercrest. The Mustangs finished with more than 400 yards and ran for 5 TDs. Lonoke beat Wynne 2 weeks ago 34-7. RB Ryder Ingle ran for 60 yards and 2 TDs, recovered 1 fumble and averaged 41 yards per punt. QB Dylan Dean has passed for 725 yards and 5 TDs this year.
NR Central Arkansas Christian (0-3) at NR HEBER SPRINGS (0-3): A battle of winless teams. CAC has been outscored 134-56; Heber Springs has been outscored 87-28. Heber Springs’ Seth Dudeck caught four passes for 93 yards and 1 TD in last week’s 28-7 loss at Lamar; Elijah Jones (14 tackles) and Eli Buffalo (13 tackles) led the defense.
NR Riverview (0-3) at NR HALL STEAM (0-3): A battle of winless teams. Hall has been outscored 170-6 this fall; Riverview has been outscored 155-0.
NR Bald Knob (1-2) at No. 3 MILLS (3-0): Bald Knob won its opener but has been outscored 76-20 against Melbourne and Des Arc in its 2 recent games. Undefeated Mills blasted Blytheville 42-7 last week. Sophomore QB Kingston Burnett passed for 311 yards and 3 TDs, while sophomore WR Chase Slater finished with 137 yards and 1 TD. Zammarion McDonald ran for 111 yards and 1 TD.

No. 11 Highland (2-1) at No. 17 GOSNELL (4-0): Gosnell, under first-year coach Chris Smith, is undefeated after beating Class 5A Brookland last week 47-13. QB Jamar Allen threw 3 TD passes, including 2 to standout Jai Jacobs. Highland hammered Riverview 54-0 2 weeks ago. Junior QB Austin Christy passed for 288 yards and 4 TDs; Reymond Denison caught 1 TD pass and returned a fumble for a TD. “We have to slow them down; they are so athletic,” Highland Coach Sterling Stowers says.
NR Pocahontas (2-1) at No. 6 SOUTHSIDE (4-0): Pocahontas has victories at Class 5A Greene County Tech 34-21 and at Brookland 26-21 in its past 2 games. Junior Xayver Ballard ran 40 times for 240 yards and 4 TDs against Brookland, and LB Bruce Recio recorded 8 tackles. Undefeated Southside beat previously unbeaten Marionsville, Mo., 35-14 a week ago. Senior RB Owen McLaughlin ran for 129 yards and 3 TDs. Senior Wyatt Bishop recorded 15 tackles and returned an interception 78 yards for a TD last week; Braden Simpson recorded 21 tackles and forced 1 fumble. Sophomore Carson McSpadden ran for a TD and recorded 10 tackles.
NR Jonesboro Westside (1-2) at NR TRUMANN (1-2): Jonesboro Westside has 3 wins since 2022, and 2 of them are over Riverview (28-19 in 2024 and 45-0 last week). Sophomore QB Aidan Turner played well a week ago. Trumann beat Harrisburg 34-18 2 weeks ago. Junior RB Bradon Whitsett (9-112-1 TD) and senior Arzell Rulford (11-85-1 TD) paced the ground attack; junior Drake Hall caught a 56-yard TD pass from junior QB Drake Harlow. Seniors Isaiah Carrillo (14 tackles) and Gavin Cubit (11 tackles) led the defense.

NR Lamar (2-1) at No. 13 CLINTON (3-0): Clinton 2 weeks ago beat Huntsville 42-0, and Heber Springs 38-14 in Week 1. QB Brodie Dufrene passed for 181 yards and 1 TD against Huntsville; Rylan Jones (9-54-2 TDs) and Zach Hunt-Gonzalez (5-56-1 TD) led the rushing attack. Lamar downed Heber Springs 28-7 last week. Senior Eli Jones ran 15 times for 123 yards and 3 TDs; Ayden Sanders had 15 carries for 98 yards and 2 catches for 51 yards. The Warriors held Heber Springs to 27 yards in the first half.
NR Dover (0-3) at No. 1 DARDANELLE (3-0): Dardanelle has won 17 of the past 21 meetings with Dover. The Sand Lizards beat Nashville 28-26 2 weeks ago. Senior QB Creed Vega (12-22 passing, 112 yards, 2 TDs, 9-65 rushing) led the offense, along with RB Ian Branson (4-15 rushing; 1-1 passing, 52 yards, 1 TD) and WR Rod Chaten (4-73-3 TDs). Breydin Hardy led the defense with 18 tackles; Kam Olson had 16 stops. Dover has been outscored 115-32 this fall and lost at Clarksville 36-6 last week. “We need to get back to basics,” Dover first-year Coach Mark King says.
No. 18 Pottsville (2-1) at No. 16 MENA (3-0): Pottsville has won 6 of the 9 meetings with Mena, but the Bearcats won last season 33-14. Pottsville has sandwiched wins over Heber Springs (21-7) and Clarksville (38-14) around a 42-7 loss to Charleston. Undefeated Mena beat Stigler, Okla., 2 weeks ago 29-19. Senior Ryder House ran for 3 TDs and led the defense with 8 tackles; Hunter McClara rushed for 100 yards. Tripp Hensley ran for 1 TD and made 6 tackles. “We have to be physical and disciplined against Pottsville,” Mena Coach Craig Bentley says.
NR Waldron (0-3) at No. 12 OZARK (2-1): Winless Waldron showed some fight 2 weeks ago in a 46-22 loss at Muldrow, Okla. The Bulldogs trailed 21-0 in the first quarter but rallied within 28-22 in the fourth quarter before running out of steam. Muldrow ran for 325 yards. Ozark started the season with wins over Clarksville and Booneville before losing the Franklin County Feud at Charleston 52-20. Sophomore John Skolarski ran 10 times for 159 yards and 2 TDs at Charleston; Easton Sampley ran for 1 TD. Sophomore Levi Hitcher and junior Deacon Gage each made 5 tackles.

No. 10 BAUXITE (2-1) at NR Fountain Lake (2-1): Bauxite stunned Class 5A Magnolia 40-22 2 weeks ago by creating 4 turnovers. Bernie Fox led the Miners with 14 tackles. Freshman QB Wyatt Foreman passed for 159 yards and 2 TDs and ran 24 times for 164 yards and 3 TDs. Fountain Lake beat Centerpoint 41-14 2 weeks ago.
NR MALVERN (1-2) at NR Genoa Central (1-2): Improved Genoa Central has dropped consecutive games to Fouke 27-26 and Murfreesboro 40-12. Malvern has lost its past 2 games — against Glen Rose 35-21 and Stuttgart 49-14. Senior Tavien Clegg ran 20 times for 94 yards and 2 TDs against Stuttgart; David Hutchins caught 5 passes for 69 yards.
NR Ashdown (0-3) at NR HG HASKELL (3-0): Haskell powered past Jessieville last week 41-0 by running 47 times for 274 yards. Cam Taylor ran 11 times for 81 yards, 1 TD, and a 2-point conversion; Jaheim Noble had 17 carries, 104 yards, and 2 TDs. Ashdown led Idabel, Okla., 27-21 in the third quarter last week before losing 47-34. QB Riley Williamson accounted for all 5 Ashdown TDs (3 passing, two rushing).

No. 19 DeWitt (2-1) at No. 5 WARREN (2-1): Warren has never lost a conference game to DeWitt. This matchup has decided the 8-4A the past 2 years (Warren won 39-23 in 2023 and 36-22 in 2024). DeWitt beat McGehee 27-0 last week, holding the Owls to 91 yards (all rushing). Junior QB Xa Cox threw a 77-yard TD pass to Marshaun Bowers and ran for 2 TDs in the second half. Warren has won its past two games, beating Class 5A White Hall 28-14 and Watson Chapel 42-0. Senior RB Aaron Davis and junior WR Josiah Steen have been Warren’s top playmakers. Davis ran 5 times for 114 yards against Watson Chapel; Steen caught a 29-yard TD. “We have to stop DeWitt’s running game and big plays,” Warren Coach Bo Hembree says. “Our biggest key is getting better at handling adversity.”
No. 14 Monticello (1-2) at No. 7 HAMBURG (2-1): Both teams played last week, with Monticello beating Dumas 39-8 and Hamburg losing a 62-54 shootout at Magnolia. Senior Nikel Lewis posted an amazing 24 carries, 311 yards, and 5 TDs; QB Kaeden Thomas passed for 164 yards and 2 TDs and ran for 1 TD. Lewis has rushed for 780 yards and 15 TDs in 3 games. Monticello QB Jackson Hines passed for 124 yards and 1 TD and ran for 3 TDs against Dumas; Joseph Accelus ran for 99 yards and 1 TD. Danner Lloyd caught 2 passes for 100 yards and 1 TD. DE Jon Luke Brotherton racked up 8 tackles and intercepted 1 pass.
NR CROSSETT (1-2) at NR Star City (0-3): Crossett’s 20-point victory over Class 5A Watson Chapel in Week 1 ended a 13-game losing skid. Eagles QB Cash Forrest has passed for almost 300 yards and 4 TDs this year, and rushed for 250 yards and 2 TDs. Jackson Mills leads Crossett with 32 tackles. Star City has lost its 3 games this season by a combined 138-39. Sophomore QB Justin Holloway and senior DE Eli Tucker played well in last week’s 47-27 loss to Lake Village. “Offensively, we have to find a rhythm and finish drives,” first-year Coach Matt Garriott says.
NR Helena (2-1) at No. 9 STUTTGART (3-0): Helena’s 1-point win in the rain last year propelled the Cougars into the playoffs and kept Stuttgart at home. But Stuttgart is unbeaten this fall after mercy-ruling Malvern 49-14 2 weeks ago. Tyquan Hall ran for 174 yards and 1 TD at Malvern; Jeremiah Thomas ran for 2 TDs. QT Johnson caught 6 passes for 155 yards and 3 TDs. Helena sandwiched a 36-12 loss at Earle around wins over Watson Chapel (50-14) and Drew Central (66-40). QB Kenneth Gilcreast has passed for 334 yards and 4 TDs this fall; Keavan Brown has rushed for 188 yards and 4 TDs.
