Palestine-Wheatley (3-0) at No. 9 RISON (1-2) Palestine-Wheatley was off last week after improving to 3-0 with a 46-7 win over Jonesboro Westside in Week 2. Quarterback Brody Parker (10-13 passing, 156 yards, 3 TDs; 12-80 rushing, TD) led the offense. Rison is coming off a 28-24 loss to the Robinson JV. Kyson Walker (16-141 rushing) and Dalton Lee (19 tackles) were team leaders on each side of the ball. Rison won last year’s matchup 24-0, but this is a different Palestine-Wheatley team. Expect a hard-fought game with home-field advantage playing a key role.

No. 7 BOONEVILLE (1-2) at Cedarville (1-2): Booneville did not play last week, but they beat Paris 35-7 in Week 2. Senior all-state tailback Hunter Warren (13-124 rushing, 3 TDs; 7 tackles) excelled on both sides of the ball. Triston Halpain had 7 tackles and a fumble recovery. Cedarville beat JC Westside 51-20 in Week 2. Daniel Ramirez (21-257 rushing, 5 TDs) and Dakota Kattich (8-128 receiving, 2 TDs) led the offense.  

No. 5 MANSFIELD (3-0) at Hackett (2-1): Mansfield, off last week, beat Lamar 30-6 in Week 2 to stay undefeated. Andrew Burton led the offense with 19 carries for 189 yards and 2 TDs. Zander Walters and Logan Ore both had 14 tackles on defense. Hackett is coming off a 28-16 win against Mountainburg. Mathew Garner completed 12 of 19 passes for 280 yards and 3 TDs. He also had an interception on defense, which was led by James Randolph (10 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery).

West Fork (0-3) at No. 3 CHARLESTON (3-0): Charleston beat Heavener, Okla. 56-14 last week. Carter Little (18-23 passing, 425 yards, 6 TDs) and wideout Bryson Wibbing (6-223 receiving, 3 TDs) played big roles on offense. West Fork is coming off a 50-0 loss to Huntsville last Friday night. 

Greenland (0-3) at LAVACA (2-1): Winless Greenland is coming off a 42-26 loss to Green Forest. Lavaca was off last week after beating Roland, Okla., 36-12, in Week 2, QB Dalton Mullenix (10-18 passing, 129 yards, TD; 13-164 rushing, TD, 99-yard run). The Golden Arrows won last year’s matchup 49-42. Home-field advantage will play a key role in this one. 

2-3A

No. 19 Melbourne (3-0) at No. 1 SALEM (3-0): Salem was off last week after beating No. 12 Newport 48-12 in Week 2. Kaden Brink had 26 carries for 172 yards and 2 TDs. The Greyhounds defense only allowed 67 rushing and 76 passing yards. Melbourne is coming off a 46-0 win over Izard County last week. Ty Gillian was the leading rusher with 12 carries for 87 yards and 3 TDs. Quarterback Abe Cooper went 12 for 18 for 189 yards and 2 TDs, he also had 1 rushing TD. Corner Cole Bookout had 3 interceptions and ran one back for a touchdown. Salem won last year’s matchup 36-3. 

No. 14 MAYFLOWER (3-0) at Mountain View (1-2): Mayflower hasn’t played a game in 2 weeks because England forfeited their Week 2 matchup, and the Eagles were off last week. Mountain View beat Piggott 28-8 in a game that ended early last week because of severe weather. Ladd Cook (5-104 rushing, 1 TD; 2-58 receiving, TD) led on offense.

Episcopal (0-3) at No. 18 ATKINS (3-0): Atkins was off last week, but got a win over defending 2A state champion Conway Christian 38-0 in Week 2. Mason Martin (8-175 rushing, 3 TDs; 1 receiving TD) led the offense. Episcopal is coming off a 55-14 loss to Baptist Prep. 

No. 20 QUITMAN (3-0) at Yellville-Summit (0-3): Quitman beat Mineral Springs 42-12 as QB Jordon Moore-Payne (15-19 passing, 242 yards, 2 TDs; 143 rushing, 4 TDs) led the offense. Quitman has outscored its opponents 153-46. Yellville-Summit lost to Berryville last week 42-22.  

3-3A

Hoxie (1-2) at No. 11 OSCEOLA (0-3): Winless Osceola had a bye last week after completing a rigorous nonconference schedule. Hoxie is also coming off a bye week. after losing 34-21 to Paragould.  

Piggott (0-3) at No. 12 NEWPORT (2-1): Piggott lost to Mountain View 28-8 last Friday night to Mountain View in a game called because of severe weather. Newport had last week off after a 48-12 loss to No. 1 Salem 48-12. Luke Reynolds threw a touchdown pass and had a few tackles on defense as well. 

Manila (0-3) at No. 17 WALNUT RIDGE (2-1): Walnut Ridge was off last week after beating Earle 58-40. RB Jace Blake (18-267 rushing, 3 TDs) led the way. Manila lost last week to Class 2A No. 1 East Poinsett County, 54-12.

Harrisburg (0-3) at No. 4 RIVERCREST (1-2): Rivercrest lost to Forrest City 58-56. Jayden Young has completed 34 of his passes for 454 yards and 5 TDs so far this season. Buddah Harris (30-432 receiving, 4 TDs) has been Young’s top target.. Winless Harrisburg had a bye last week after losing in Week 2 to Trumann 34-18. Jayvin Thompson had 196 all-purpose yards, including an 80 yard interception return for a TD.  

4-3A

No. 8 GLEN ROSE (2-1) at Two Rivers (1-2): Glen Rose, off last week, lost to No. 6 Bismarck 48-21 in week 2. QB Gage Hood (11-38 passing, 188 yards, 1 TD, 4 INTs. vs. Bismarck) tries to bounce back. Two Rivers lost 44-14 last week to Hampton. Glen Rose beat Two Rivers 33-7 last season. 

PARIS (2-1) at Danville (1-2): Paris, off last week, lost to No. 7 Booneville 35-7 in Week 2. Danville lost 31-7 last week to Hector, but it was 8-0 at halftime. Sophomore Jake Crane had 10 tackles and 1 pass breakup. Jaime Ventura had 9 tackles, including 2 TFL, and 1 sack. Paris won this matchup last season 41-13.  

Jessieville (0-3) at MAGNET COVE (2-1): Jessieville, winless in nonconference play, lost 41-0 last week to Haskell Harmony Grove. Magnet Cove was off last week after beating Poyen 68-50 in Week 2. 

Perryville (1-2) at CUTTER M. STAR (2-1): Perryville, off last week, beat Bigelow 36-34 in Week 2 behind sophomore Tanner Frith (24-236 rushing, 3 TDs) and junior Jesse Judy (17-116 rushing, TD). Cutter M. Star is playing for the first time in 3 weeks.

7-3A

No. 6 BISMARCK (2-1) at Parkers Chapel (0-3): Bismarck was off last week after beating No. 8 Glen Rose 48-21 in Week 2. Sophomore Cayden Burch (95 passing, TD; 172 rushing, 2 TDs) led the offense. The defense intercepted 4 passes, and Caedmon Keithley ran 1 of them back for a touchdown. Winless Parker’s Chapel was also off last week after losing to Dierks 61-25 in Week 2.  Austin Greer had 9 carries for 117 yards and 2 TDs.  

No. 15 PRESCOTT (2-1) at Fouke (3-0): Prescott last week beat 5A Hope 28-20. KJ Page (21-204 rushing, 4 TDs) led the Curly Wolves, who totaled 332 offensive yards and 15 first downs. Fouke brings an undefeated record into conference play after beating Genoa Central 27-26 in Week 2. Joshua Scoggins had 32 carries for 199 yards and 3 TDs. The Panthers scored a touchdown with 38 seconds left to win the game. The Curly Wolves won this matchup last season by a score of 43-8. 

Harmony Grove Ouachita County (0-3) at No. 10 SMACKOVER (3-0): Winless Harmony Grove Ouachita County was off last week after losing to Hayniesville, La., 42-14 in Week 2. QB Damien Burns (86 rushing, TD) led on offense. Mathew Priddy (7 tackles, 2 TFLd, forced fumble) led the defense. Smackover had a bye after beating rival Junction City 37-28 in Week 2. Quarterback Mitchell Polk (8-14 passing, 79 yards, TD; 15-165 rushing, 2 TDs) led the offense.

CENTERPOINT (2-1) at Horatio (0-3): Centerpoint beat Spring Hill 22-18 last week. Tailback Chris Borgeson leads the offense. Winless Horatio returns from a bye week after losing 33-14 to Foreman in Week 2.

Palestine-Wheatley (3-0) at No. 9 RISON (1-2). See Game of the Week.

Barton (2-1) at No. 2 FORDYCE (3-0): Barton will forfeit due to an insufficient number of eligible players after a brawl against Marianna in Week 2. 

No. 16 MCGEHEE (1-2) at Drew Central (1-2): McGehee  looks to bounce back after losing 27-0 to DeWitt last week. Drew Central, off last week, is led by senior QB Tra’Bennett Fuller (278 passing, 3 TDs; 10-110 rushing 2 TDs) in Week 2 loss to West Helena. McGehee beat Drew Central last season 49-0. 

No. 13 DUMAS (1-2) at Lake Village (1-2): Dumas lost last week to Class 4A Monticello 39-8; Lake Village beat Star City 47-27, led by Roderick Conic (8-182 rushing, 3 TDs). Dumas won this matchup last year 28-6.
