GREENWOOD — The rematch of the the 2024 6A State Championship lived up to the hype.  No. 1 Greenwood powered through injuries and leaned on its ground game Friday night to beat No. 2 Shiloh Christian 35–24 at Smith-Robinson Stadium, extending the Bulldogs’ home winning streak to 72.

Quarterback Kane Archer, not at full strength, still delivered with a 35-yard touchdown pass to sophomore Braxton Canada and a 20-yard scoring run. Senior running back Wesley Raggio paced the offense with two touchdowns, while junior Mario Dunbar added a clinching 4-yard score. Senior Cooper Bland came up with a key interception, and kicker Landon Franklin drilled all five extra points.

Shiloh Christian struck first behind sophomore running back Max Eldridge, who had three rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Cole Creighton found senior wideout Chandler Kemp for a 45-yard touchdown, and junior defensive back Silas Nantze grabbed an interception to keep the Saints within reach.

Both defenses traded momentum swings early, but Greenwood’s offensive line wore down the Saints in the second half, creating lanes for Raggio and Dunbar to close out the win.
