Mountain Home 33, Siloam Springs 0
Mountain Home blanked Siloam Springs 33–0 Friday at Panther Stadium as senior RB/DB Barrett Miller powered the Bombers with five rushing touchdowns and 199 yards, plus 93 receiving. Mountain Home outgained the Panthers 454–153 and posted its second straight shutout.
The Bombers’ line, anchored by seniors Aaron Martin and Kalen Frownfelter, steadily wore down Siloam’s front, springing Miller’s series of short scoring runs and giving QB Brantlee Phillips clean edges on option keepers. K Isaac Ballard also drilled three extra points and narrowly missed a 29‑yarder before halftime. Mountain Home’s special teams flipped the field repeatedly.
Phillips went 8‑of‑16 for 163 yards and added 67 rushing; WR/DB Carter Adkins caught three balls for 54 yards as the offense settled in after a scoreless first quarter.
Siloam Springs answered with grit early. RB/WR Mason Short churned out chain‑moving carries, senior Jack O’Brienintercepted a pass, and TE/DE Boaz Benson recovered a fumble and batted down a throw to halt a drive. The Panthers also covered punts well and forced Mountain Home to earn field position.
The Bomber defense controlled the night, limiting big plays and rallying to the ball. WR/DB Hunter Estes snagged a late interception, and linebackers Blake Vacco and Ford Coleman knifed into the backfield for timely stops as Mountain Home recorded back‑to‑back shutouts for the first time since 2008–09. Mountain Home (6–1, 3–1 6A‑West), coached by Steve Ary, hosts Lake Hamilton next; Siloam Springs (2–5, 0–4), coached by Doug Loughridge, continues league play next week.
