This is a rematch from Week 2, when Joe T. Robinson notched a 35-16 victory over the Rams. The teams played twice last season, with Joe T. Robinson winning 24-19 in the regular season, and HS Lakeside winning 21-17 in the playoff quarterfinals.

Joe T. Robinson has won its 3 playoff games by a combined 19 points, including last week’s 35-28 decision over Morrilton without senior Deuce Williams, who was sidelined with an injury. Senior defensive star Isiah Reese ran 20 times for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns, and junior Charles Petty had a key 67-yard TD run. Reese (12 tackles, 1 sack), junior safety Hakim Frampton (11 tackles) and senior linebacker Jackson Redman (8 tackles, 1 sack) paced the defense.

HS Lakeside advances to the title game for the first time since 1975, when the Rams lost to Stuttgart by 12 points.
