On homecoming night, Brookland leaned on its ground game and a stifling defense to close out Greene County Tech, 24–7. Senior WR/DB Gabe Carter took the bulk of the snaps in the Bearcats’ jumbo set and delivered 30 carries for 213 yards and two touchdowns, adding 6‑of‑10 passing for 50 yards. RB Mark Taylor added 23 rushes for 78 yards and the opening 6‑yard score.
