CARLISLE — Carlisle piled up 486 yards of offense and forced two turnovers to defeat Des Arc 45–22 in a nonconference rivalry Friday night. Quarterback Baylor Hauk delivered a monster performance, completing 23 of 34 passes for 341 yards with two touchdowns, while also rushing 21 times for 100 yards and three scores. The junior added three tackles and a fumble recovery on defense.

Carlisle’s attack was balanced. Jaden Elliott carried seven times for 40 yards and caught eight passes for 94 yards, while also tallying five tackles and three stops for loss. Cajuan Pernell added three catches for 87 yards and a touchdown. Joshua Elliott chipped in one reception for 47 yards and a score while recording 12 tackles. Remington Gisclair contributed three carries for 25 yards and a touchdown, plus eight tackles and a fumble recovery.

Defensively, the Bison limited Des Arc to 221 total yards, creating key short fields with their pressure.

Des Arc responded with its trademark physical rushing game. Jamie Collins broke a first-quarter touchdown, Gabe Berry powered in a second-half score, and quarterback Hudson Goodman kept for a fourth-quarter touchdown. Cane Childers and Kaibrein Buchanan converted two-point runs as the Eagles twice pulled within striking distance.
