He also rushed 25 times for 204 yards and 3 TDs. The leading receiver was Damien Stevens, who had 7 receptions for 85 yards. Glen Rose has beaten 2 4A teams in 2 weeks. Bismarck got a 61-0 win over Class 2A Mineral Springs, led by star RB Caedmon Keithley, who led the team with 3 touchdowns. Keithley ran back the opening kickoff for a score and had a punt return touchdown. Bismarck won last year 46-7.

No. 20 Paris (2-0) at No. 9 BOONEVILLE (0-2): Booneville is coming off a painful 34-27 loss to Class 4A Ozark. Tayden Washburn rushed 7 times for 55 yards before suffering an injury that might end his season. The defense gave up 341 rushing yards and 81 passing yards. Paris has allowed 2 points in 2 games. Hanley Barnhill led the defense with 10 tackles, and Dawson Bradford contributed 4 tackles, including 3 sacks. Booneville won this matchup last season 35-9.
Class 4A Lamar (1-0) at No. 5 MANSFIELD (2-0): Mansfield is coming off a 46-6 win over Waldron, led by Andrew Burton (13-281 rushing, 3 TDs). Logan Ore and Zander Walters anchored the defense, with 6 tackles apiece. Lamar is coming off a bye week after beating Huntsville 35-7 in Week 0. Lamar won this matchup at home last year, but home-field advantage tilts things Mansfield’s way this time.

Charleston beat 4A Pottsville 42-7 behind QB Carter Little (21-32 passing, 304 yards, 3 TDs) and WR Bryson Wibbing (4-106, 2 TDs). Matteo Gaona intercepted 2 passes, one returned for a TD and the other returned to the Pottsville 3. Charleston has won this matchup 14 of the past 21 years.
Roland (Okla.) (0-1) at LAVACA (1-1): Lavaca is coming off a 34-2 loss to Paris, struggling to move the ball throughout. Roland (Okla.) lost 62-18 last week to Muldrow (Okla). Lavaca won last year’s matchup 21-14; expect a similar outcome this year.
Class 4A BERRYVILLE (1-0) at Greenland (0-1): Greenland has won 6 of the last 7 in this matchup. Berryville beat Mountain View 40-28 last Friday night. Greenland is coming off a bye week; expect Berryville to have the edge in this one.
West Fork (0-1) at Class 4A LINCOLN (1-1): West Fork exits a 28-6 loss to Green Forest last week. Lincoln lost to Westville (Okla.) 30-26 last Friday night. Both teams are looking for a bounce-back game, and we predict Lincoln to pull this one out.
Cedarville (0-2) at Class 2A JC WESTSIDE (0-1): Cedarville had 7 turnovers in a 33-7 loss to Mountainburg. Daniel Ramirez (21-168 rushing) was the offensive leader. JC Westside lost 34-7 to Danville last week. Both teams are desperate for a win; home-field advantage gives JC Westside the edge.
Class 4A GENTRY(2-0) at Hackett (1-0): Gentry is coming off a last-second win over Class 5A Pea Ridge last Friday; Hackett comes off a bye after beating Danville 39-13 in Week 0. Gentry won 55-18 last fall.

No. 12 Newport (2-0) at No.1 SALEM (2-0): Defending state champion Salem dominated Prescott last week, winning 55-0. The Greyhounds rushed for 400 yards and held the Curly Wolves to 28 total yards. Kaden Brink (22-214 rushing, 2 TDs) led the offense. Newport beat Class 5A Batesville 39-20. Senior QB Luke Reynolds completed 13 of 16 for 163 yards and 2 TDs. Trevion Greer had 19 rushes for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns. Newport won this matchup last year 42-6, but Salem is 11-1 since that defeat.
No. 14 MAYFLOWER (2-0) at Class 2A England (2-0): Mayflower beat Bigelow 48-7 last week behind QB Carter Smith (15-20 passing, 209 yards, 5 TDs) and Marcus Williams (4-63 receiving, 2 TDs). England beat Drew Central 46-16 after the game ended early due to a big altercation on the field. Mayflower won this matchup last season 42-0.
No. 18 ATKINS (2-0) at Class 2A Conway Christian (1-1): Atkins beat Dover 49-0 last Friday night. Senior Cole Crawford led the passing attack, going 6-10 for 182 yards and 3 TDs. Sophomore Cooper Goodall rushed 7 times for 56 yards and 2 TDs. Conway Christian lost to Quitman last week 54-18. Atkins’ offense gives it the advantage.
QUITMAN (1-0) at Class 2A Izard County (1-0): Quitman beat defending 2A champion Conway Christian 54-18 last week. Quarterback Jordon Moore-Payne (15-20 passing, 237 yards, 1 TD; 12-90 rushing, 3 TDs) led the offense. Melo Harneck led the defense with 5 tackles, 2 TFL and a sack. Izard County had a bye last. Quitman, which won last year’s matchup 45-0, gets the edge with its returning offensive talent.
Class 2A HECTOR (1-0) at Yellville-Summit (0-1): Yellville-Summit, coming off a bye week, lost to Izard County 40-38 in Week 0. Hector, which won this matchup last season 20-14, beat Perryville 26-20 last Friday.

Class 2A EARLE (2-0) at No. 17 Walnut Ridge (1-1): Walnut Ridge bounced back last week, beating Trumann 35-6. Jace Blake rushed 9 times for 111 yards and 3 TDs. Earle has outscored its first 2 opponents, 102-34.
No. 4 Rivercrest (0-1) at Class 2A EAST POINSETT COUNTY: Rivercrest lost to 4A Gosnell 40-30 last week. Returning all-state players Jayden Young and Buddah Harris lead the Colts. EPC, No. 1 in Class 2a, had a bye last week after beating Walnut Ridge 30-22 in Week 0. Homefield advantage gives EPC the edge.
Class 5A PARAGOULD (2-0) at Hoxie (1-1): Paragould beat Kennett (Mo.) last week with 3 players rushing for at least 58 yards. Hoxie beat Jonesboro Westside 20-0, with Robert Martinez (17-137 rushing) leading the way. Paragould won 19-6 last year.
Class 4A TRUMANN (0-2) at Harrisburg (0-2): Harrisburg lost 49-6 last week to 4A Southside. Junior Grayson Harkey (22-118 rushing, TD) had his first 100-yard game. Trumann, which has won 11 of the past 14 meetings, has 2 key players returning this week.
Class 2A CROSS COUNTY (1-1) at Piggott (0-1): Piggott, off last week, lost its opener to Doniphan (Mo.) 46-36 in Week 0. Cross County lost to Palestine-Wheatley. Cross County won last year’s matchup 50-12.

Class 2A BIGELOW (0-2) at Perryville (0-2): Both teams are searching for their first win. Perryville lost 26-20 last week to 2A Hector. Bigelow has been outscored 81-21 in losses to Mayflower and England.

Two Rivers (1-0) at Class 2A MAGAZINE (2-0): Two Rivers ended a 26-game losing streak last Friday, beating Baptist Prep 28-21 for its first win since 2022. Drake Hess scored 4 touchdowns for Two Rivers to give Will Cox his first coaching win.

Andreal Ellison Jr. completed 9 of 14 passes for 165 yards and 2 TDs. Micah Gamble (8-154 rushing, 2 TDs) led the run game. Fordyce beat Mineral Springs 58-10 last fall.
Class 4A Haskell Harmony Grove (0-1) at No. 7 RISON (1-0): Rison jumped on H.G. Ouachita County 36-19 last week. HG Haskell lost to Clinton 2 weeks ago, despite Jaheim Noble’s 27 carries, 166 yards and 1 TD.
No. 10 Dumas (1-0) at Class 4A HAMBURG (1-0): Hamburg has beaten its former conference foe 14 of the past 24 seasons. Hamburg’s Nikel Lewis rushed for 5 TDs in last week’s 49-27 win at McGehee. Keovion Brown and Charles Mooney each caught TD passes. Dumas shut out Star City 39-0 a week ago, running for almost 300 yards.
PALESTINE-WHEATLEY (2-0) at Class 4A Jonesboro Westside (0-1): This is the first meeting between the teams. Jonesboro Westside lost at Hoxie 20-0 a week ago. Palestine-Wheatley QB Brody Parker threw a 15-yard TD pass on fourth down in the fourth quarter last week to lift the Patriots to a 14-12 win over Cross County. Palestine-Wheatley’s defense forced 3 turnovers, and Adron Cooper scored the other TD with an 80-yard kickoff return.
Class 2A Marianna (0-1) at BARTON (1-1): Barton beat Clarendon last week 42-6. The Bears lean on an experienced backfield with senior all-conference RB Calvin Jones leading the way. Barton won 22-6 in last year’s matchup.
Class 4A HELENA (1-1) at Drew Central (1-1): Helena lost to Class 2A Earle 36-12 last week; Drew Central led England 46-16 in the third quarter when England’s superintendent instructed the coaches to forfeit after the teams fought on the England sideline. Helena LB Keveahn Brown made 7 tackles against Earle. “We gave up too many deep passes, which is frustrating,” Helena Coach Russell Smith says. “We are a way better team than we showed against Earle. We made too many mistakes.”
Class 4A LR Hall (0-2) at LAKE VILLAGE (0-2): Lake Village lost to Class 2A Carlisle 27-6 last week; Hall Steam has been outscored by a combined 118-0 in losses to Dardanelle and Mena.
Class 3A MCGEHEE (0-1) at Star City (0-1): Star City has beaten its former conference rival in 9 of the past 14 meetings, but the Bulldogs didn’t score in last week’s 39-0 loss to Dumas.
