No. 13 Pottsville (5-0; 2-0) at No. 5 OZARK (5-0; 2-0): These teams have played conference games the past 10 years, with Ozark winning 7 times, including last year by 31 points. Undefeated Pottsville has scored at least 42 points in every game this year. The Apaches scored 4 TDs in the first quarter of last week’s 47-14 victory over Subiaco Academy and finished with 228 yards on 25 carries. Penn Helton scored an early touchdown, and QB Lane Small threw 2 TD passes to Logan Vines. Ozark, playing without injured QB Cade Capp, led Waldron 14-6 (held Waldron to 17 yards in the first half) in the third quarter last week before pulling away 34-14. The Hillbillies rode junior John Skolarski (28-230 rushing, 4 TDs) and senior Easton Fox (17-124 rushing, TD). The Hillbillies lost 2 fumbles. Deacon Gage (12 tackles), Adden Richardson (11 tackles), and Kanyon Connelly (10 tackles) led the defense. “We have to eliminate our turnovers and match Pottsville’s physicality,” says Coach Josh Watson, who will miss the first half of this week’s game after getting ejected against Waldron.

Senior QB Austin Born (13-18-240 passing, 3 TDs; 58 rushing, TD) and senior Ki’Onte Martin (3-66-2 receiving; scoop-and-score on defense) led the way. Lincoln QB Korbin Price threw a TD pass and ran for a TD in last week’s 28-point loss to Gentry.
Huntsville (1-4; 0-2) at No. 9 GRAVETTE (4-1; 2-0): Gravette has scored mercy-rule wins in its first 2 conference games. Senior JD Beem ran for 191 yards and 2 TDs and caught a 37-yard TD pass in last week’s 70-7 win at Green Forest. Senior Austin Wolf, senior Cade Phillips and junior Jack Grimes caught TD passes. Grimes led the defense with 12 tackles; Beem made 2 tackles and intercepted a pass. Huntsville trailed Prairie Grove 26-20 in the third quarter of its 41-20 loss last week. Senior Garrett McElhaney ran for 169 yards and 1 TD.
Berryville (3-2; 0-2) at PRAIRIE GROVE (2-3; 2-0): Prairie Grove has won 21 of the past 23 matchups over Berryville, including the past 2 by a combined 126-24. Berryville QB CT Hicks passed for 109 yards and Berryville’s only score in last week’s 61-7 loss to Elkins. Isaiah West caught the TD and averaged 50 yards per reception. Prairie Grove has won consecutive conference games after starting the season 0-2. Senior QB Noah Bowling tallied 270 yards (165 rushing, 105 passing) and 5 TDs in last week’s 41-20 win at Huntsville. Junior Kenan Stucki ran for 1 TD and caught a TD pass. DL Ben Gomez led the defense with 8 tackles.
Green Forest (3-2; 0-2) at GENTRY (4-1; 1-1): Gentry has won 9 of the past 12 over Green Forest, the past 2 by a combined 72-9. Senior QB Semmie Guenther passed for 233 yards and 3 TDs and ran for 1 TD in last week’s 42-14 win over Lincoln; senior Atreyu Banks ran for 133 yards, Titus Cable caught 2 TD passes, and WR CJ Bolinger had 118 yards and 1 TD. Ethan Meyers (8 tackles) returned an interception for a TD and ran for a TD. Green Forest led Gravette 7-0 last week when Jace Meadows ran for a TD on the first drive.

Senior D’Mareon Eason caught a TD pass and returned a kickoff for a TD in last week’s 51-6 win over Bald Knob, and Josh Sherman ran for 115 yards and 2 TDs. DE Huck Waddell (6 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles) and LB Jonathan Hixson (5 TFL, 2.5 sacks) spearheaded the defense. Clinton senior fullback Hayden Jones ran for 2 TDs in last week’s 49-14 loss at CAC.
No. 14 BAUXITE (3-2; 1-1) at HG Haskell (1-4; 1-1): These Saline County rivals have split their past 10 meetings, with Bauxite winning 33-7 last year and HG Haskell winning 13-12 in 2024. Bauxite beat Mayflower 35-0 a week ago, rushing for 274 yards. Sophomore QB Wyatt Foreman (151 rushing yards, TD), senior Elijah Perry (3 rushing TDs, 7 tackles, 1 forced fumble) and junior Gunnar Morris (rushing TD; 4 tackles and 1 interception) led Bauxite. HG Haskell committed 4 turnovers in last week’s 35-7 loss to Heber Springs. Senior Lane Beaty ran for 101 yards and 1 TD; senior linebackers Noah Bennett and Brayden Russell have played solidly.
No. 19 HEBER SPRINGS (4-1; 2-0) at Bald Knob (3-2; 0-2): Heber Springs has won 11 of the past 17 over Bald Knob, and enters this week after beating HG Haskell by 28 points. LB Titus Bullington made 8 tackles, including 3 TFL, and returned an interception 74 yards for a TD on the final play of the first half. Tex Isom racked up 9 tackles; Tanner Graham intercepted 1 pass, caught a TD pass, and ran for 1 TD. Golden Tate made all 5 extra points, kicked off into the end zone 3 times for touchbacks and pinned HG Haskell inside the 5 with 2 terrific punts. Bald Knob QB Stefen Palomares passed for 195 yards in last week’s 51-6 loss to Lonoke, but the Bulldogs ran for minus-4 yards.
No. 20 CAC (4-1; 1-1) at Mayflower (3-2; 1-1): These rivals played nonconference games from 2016-2023, with CAC winning 5 of the 9. CAC bounced back from a Week 4 loss to Heber Springs to beat Clinton 49-14 last week. CAC starters played the first half, with QB Jackson Plumlee (130 rushing yards, 3 TDs; 2 passing TDs); Ross Mounts (8 tackles, 1 sack) and Cam Moats (10 tackles) led the defense. Mayflower lost 35-0 to Bauxite last week.

No. 6 GOSNELL (5-0; 2-0) at Trumann (0-5; 0-2): These teams have played every season since 1998, with Gosnell winning 21 times, including 2 in a row by a combined 96-26. Gosnell rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit last week to beat Forrest City 43-29 as senior QB Jamar Allen (20-227-2 TDs rushing) fueled the second-half rally. Trumann managed 134 yards in last week’s 39-6 loss to Highland. Sophomore RJ Mabe lined up at QB, linebacker, and played on most special teams last week. Johnny Bell, Jr., racked up 8 tackles.
Jonesboro Westside (3-2; 0-2) at No. 7 SOUTHSIDE (4-1; 2-0): Jonesboro Westside was awarded a Week 2 forfeit victory over Palestine-Wheatley, but the Warriors have lost conference games to Highland and Pocahontas by a combined 96-15. Kason Carter led the Warriors’ rushing attack last week. Southside beat Blytheville 50-14; QB Trey Allen threw for 88 yards and ran for 146; Bentley Sutherland ran for 103 yards and scored 2 TDs.
Pocahontas (2-3; 1-1) at No. 15 FORREST CITY (4-1; 1-1): This is the first meeting between these teams. Pocahontas senior Xayver Ballard had 6 carries, 114 yards and 3 TDs in the first half of last week’s 35-8 win over Jonesboro Westside. Ryder Baltz ran for a TD and made 5 tackles. Forrest City led Gosnell 29-14 at halftime last week, before losing 43-29. Senior QB Kendrick Patterson threw 2 TD passes, and senior Vonterrious Williams caught a TD pass and intercepted a pass.
No. 12 HIGHLAND (4-1; 2-0) at Blytheville (0-5; 0-2): Highland QB Austin Christy passed for 187 yards and 5 TDs in last week’s 39-6 win over Trumann. Senior WR Jimmy Jensen (5-131 receiving, 4 TDs) and RB Zeke Varela (7-80 rushing, TD) led the offense; Reymond Demison, Webb Munroe and Carson Stanford played well defensively. Blytheville showed improvement last week, trailing Southside 22-14 in the third quarter before losing 50-14.

Waldron (3-2; 0-2) at No. 8 BOONEVILLE (5-0; 2-0): These rivals played every year from 1948-2017, but haven’t played since. Waldron has battled hard in its 2 conference losses. Jaxson Brown ran for 115 yards and 1 TD, and recorded 11 tackles in last week’s 34-14 loss to Ozark; Hayden Henry caught 4 passes for 43 yards and 1 TD. Kolby Gonzalez (9 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries, including 65-yard TD. Booneville shook off early rust (trailed 22-15 in the second quarter) after not playing in 3 weeks to dismantle Mena 49-28 for the program’s 800th victory. Senior Brody Chambers ran for 214 yards and 5 TDs; Hayden Daniel totaled 12 tackles.
MENA (2-3; 1-1) at Lamar (4-1; 1-1): Mena has won 5 of its 6 meetings over Lamar, including the past 2 by a combined 52-21. The Bearcats led Booneville by a TD in the second quarter last week before losing 49-28. QB Hank Rose ran for 88 yards and 2 TDs, and Chance Hughes ran for 79 yards and 2 TDs. Lamar beat Dover, 44-0. QB Karsten Schulterman (13-19-189 passing, 2 TDs; 7-47 rushing) and Brailon Carr (10-111 rushing, TD) led the Warriors offense, along with WR Kasen Humphrey (4-60). Linebacker Whitman Storment (15 tackles), Jack Wyles (14 tackles), Corbin Cowell (8 tackles, including 1 sack), Carr (6 tackles, 1 forced fumble) and Humphrey (9 tackles) were forces on defense.
DOVER (2-3; 0-2) at Subiaco Academy (0-5; 0-2): Dover failed to score in last week’s 44-point loss to Lamar, while Subiaco Academy averages 8 points per game. Dover’s Marion Weatherall (7 tackles) and Luke Jones (7 tackles, 2 passes defended) led the defense last week. Subiaco Academy junior WR William Schmitz, Corey Montgomery and Ian Kennedy played well in last week’s loss vs. Pottsville.

Fouke (2-3; 0-2) at No. 2 NASHVILLE (5-0; 2-0): Fouke hung with Arkadelphia last week (trailing 17-10 in third quarter) before losing 49-19. Fouke QB Cody Heflin ran for 99 yards. Nashville racked up 438 yards and forced 5 turnovers in last week’s 49-21 win at Fountain Lake. Senior QB DJ Jefferson (226 yards, 3 TDs passing) and junior RB Jacoby Hopson (17-177-4 TDs rushing, 1 receiving TD) led the offense; junior LB Blake Moody (11 tackles, 1 interception), sophomore LB Bo Dean (8 tackles, 1 fumble recovery) and junior DB Kamari Canady (8 tackles, interception) played well on defense.
No. 4 ARKADELPHIA (3-2; 1-1) at No. 10 Fountain Lake (4-1; 1-1): Fountain Lake hasn’t beaten Arkadelphia since 2016. Arkadelphia QB Turner Ross passed for 246 yards and 6 TDs in last week’s 49-19 win over Fouke; Carson Brawley led the defense with 16 tackles and 2 interceptions. Fountain Lake must shake off last week’s 28-point loss to Nashville. Senior WR Peyton Harwood caught an 80-yard TD pass.
Ashdown (3-2; 2-0) at MALVERN (3-2; 2-0): Malvern has won 11 of the past 16 over Ashdown. The Leopards have won 3 consecutive games after starting the season 0-2. Wesley Morley ran 8 times for 199 yards and 3 TDs in the first half of last week’s 42-6 win over Hope. Ashdown has won 3 consecutive games by a total of 14 points, including last week’s 26-20 victory at Genoa Central. Senior WR Bryson French caught 10 passes for 220 yards and 4 TDs, while Tyler Smith caught 3 for 42. QB Shooter Johnson passed for 268 yards.
GENOA CENTRAL (3-2; 0-2) at Hope (0-5; 0-2): Genoa Central hung with Ashdown last week before losing by 6 points. QB Zach Deaton ran for 143 yards on 25 carries and completed 4 of 9 passes for 69 yards. Hope WR Jaiden Brown (7-125 receiving, TD) and QB Austin Courtney (16-28-224 passing, TD) played well in last week’s 36-point setback at Malvern.

No. 1 STUTTGART (5-0; 2-0) at DeWitt (1-4; 0-2): DeWitt has 7 wins over its Arkansas County rival in the playoff era (1969-present). Stuttgart junior RB Tyquan Hall ran for 113 yards and 5 TDs in last week’s 35-6 win over Crossett. Stuttgart’s first-team defense yielded 53 yards in the first half. DeWitt led Star City 22-20 in the fourth quarter last week before giving up the winning TD and 2-point play in the middle of the fourth quarter. Marshawn Bowers (8-218 receiving, 2 TDs) led DeWitt’s offense; linebackers Cannon Craig (14 tackles) and Cam Mitchell (14 tackles) led on defense.
Star City (3-2; 1-1) at No. 18 MONTICELLO (2-3; 1-1): These teams have split the past 14 meetings since the rivalry renewed in 2012, with Monticello winning the past 3. Star City rallied past DeWitt by 6 points a week ago for its first conference victory since Week 4, 2024. Junior RB Jamarion Spencer (33-210 rushing, 2 TDs) and senior Braylon Seawood (3-37 rushing) led the offense, along with sophomore fullback Tristan Taylor (1 TD catch, 4 champion blocks) and junior lineman Cedric Scruggs (88 percent blocking grade, 7 champion blocks). Sophomore DL Quen Brooks (8 tackles), senior corner Marion Iverson (1 tackle, 1 interception), sophomore LB Konner Wells (3 tackles, 2 fumble recoveries) made big plays defensively. Monticello QB Hudson Harvey passed for 121 yards and the lone Billies’ TD in last week’s 17-7 loss at Warren. Senior Joseph Accelus ran for 145 yards and caught 6 passes for 21 yards.
No. 17 Hamburg (4-1; 1-1) at No. 16 WARREN (3-2; 2-0): Warren has lost to Hamburg 2 times since Bo Hembree became coach in 2000. But Hamburg won last season by 14 points. Hamburg beat Watson Chapel by 35 points last week. Lineman Brett Davis earned an 86-percent blocking grade and blocked a punt that a teammate recovered for a TD. WR Charles Mooney caught 9 passes for 111 yards and 3 TDs. Warren’s defense stood out in last week’s 17-7 win over Monticello. Linebacker Xavion Miller (9 tackles, 1 sack); Tucker McDiarmid (7 tackles); Hayden Hampton had 5 tackles, 3 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble and 1 interception.
Watson Chapel (0-5; 0-2) at CROSSETT (2-3; 0-2): These teams split nonconference matchups the past 2 years (Crossett won 42-22 last year, Watson Chapel won 19-7 in 2024). Watson Chapel WR Demarion Allen (3-76 receiving, TD) provided the offense in a 41-6 loss to Hamburg last week. Isaiah Vincent (11 tackles) and Demonte Lawrence (8 tackles, including 3 TFL) led the defense. Crossett’s JT Barnett caught a TD pass, had 7 tackles, and blocked an extra point in last week’s 35-6 loss to top-ranked Stuttgart.
