No. 7 Warren (5-2, 3-1) at No. 8 STUTTGART (7-0, 4-0):
The winner takes a giant step toward locking up at least a No. 2 seed and multiple home playoff games. Warren has won 16 of the past 19 over Stuttgart, including 62-24 in the 2022 playoffs, 42-7 in the 2023 opener and 55-20 a year ago. Warren jumped on Star City 28-0 early last week, coasting to a 42-14 decision. Junior QB Jackson Denton completed 8 of 9 passes for 306 yards and 5 touchdowns, including a 90-yarder to Tayshawn Edwards to set the tone in the first quarter. Senior DE Braxton Hembree has played well the past few games, coach Bo Hembree says.
Stuttgart beat Monticello 52-28 on Monticello’s homecoming to move to 7-0. Senior Tyquan Hall (165 total yards, 4 TDs), junior QB Cain Price (312 passing, 4 TDs; 4-50 rushing) and Bray Minor (7-74 receiving) led the offense. Keaton Byers (12 tackles, 1 forced fumble) led on defense. “Warren has the best quarterback and receivers we will see this year,” Stuttgart Coach Josh Price says.

Green Forest (3-4, 1-3) at No. 2 ELKINS (6-1, 4-0): Elkins beat rival Prairie Grove 55-14 last week behind backup QB Austin Born (10-16 passing, 221 yards) and senior RB Connor Hamm (10-44 rushing, 2 TDs; 3-66 receiving). Starting QB Ben Napier didn’t take a snap due to an injury, but held for PATs. Tate Mortin led Elkins’ defense with 8 tackles, including 2 TFL and 1 sack. Jeb Slaughter intercepted 1 pass, forced 1 fumble and recovered a fumble for a TD. Green Forest RB Ywa Hay Moo ran for 237 yards and 4 TDs in last week’s 38-35 victory at Lincoln. QB Ryne Stone ran for 81 yards. Jace Meador (13 tackles) and Jadon Ochoa (6 tackle, INT) led the Green Forest defense.
No. 14 GRAVETTE (6-1, 4-0) at Prairie Grove (3-4, 3-1): The winner likely gets a home playoff game. Gravette blew out Berryville 55-7 last week. Senior QB Cameron Bedwell passed for 87 yards and 1 TD; junior QB Hudson Harris completed 16 of 21 passes for 189 yards and 3 TDs. Junior Joseph Beem ran for 2 TDs, and Cade Phillips (4-72 receiving, TD) contributed. Prairie Grove hung with Elkins (trailed 21-8 late in the first half last week) before losing 55-14. QB Isaac Moss threw a 36-yard TD pass to Tylen Laycock, then ran for a 2-point conversion in the first half.
GENTRY (6-1, 3-1) at Berryville (3-4, 0-4): Gentry has won its past 3 conference games by an average of 38-14; Berryville has lost its 4 conference games by an average of 53-11 after starting the season 3-0. Berryville QB CT Hicks ran for 234 yards and 1 TD in last week’s 56-7 loss at Gravette, and Andry Esparza had 118 yards receiving. T.J. Wolfe (7 tackles) led on defense. Gentry QB Talen Williams passed for 165 yards and 1 TD and ran for 112 yards and 2 TDs in last week’s 21-9 victory over Huntsville. Jaden Knox (9 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack) led Gentry’s defense. Gentry’s offensive line is starting to play well and gain momentum, Coach Tyler Clark says.
Lincoln (2-5, 0-4) at HUNTSVILLE (2-5, 1-3): Improved Huntsville hung with Gentry last week before losing 21-9. Junior Wyatt Ingram led the Eagles, rushing for 68 yards and 1 TD. Lincoln has lost its 4 conference games by an average of 57-17.

No. 15 LONOKE (5-2, 4-0) at Heber Springs (4-3, 4-0): The winner takes a big step toward the conference title and possible No. 1 playoff seed. Lonoke has won its past 3 games by at least 35 points, including 50-14 last week at CAC. Jackrabbits sophomore Joshua Sherman ran for 85 yards and 3 first-half TDs at CAC and the defense forced 2 turnovers. Junior LB Ryder Ingle (11 tackles, 1 FF) led the defensive effort. Heber Springs has won its 4 conference games after starting the season 0-3. The Panthers jumped on winless Hall Steam 42-0 in the second quarter before easing to a 56-0 decision. Seth Dudeck caught 4 passes for 152 yards and 1 TD; center Nate Eaton earned a 95 -percent blocking grade and made 5 pancake blocks. Caleb Carr led Heber Springs’ defense with 6 tackles (2 TFL).
Hall Steam (0-7, 0-4) at No. 13 MILLS (6-1, 3-1): Hall Steam has scored 12 points this fall. Mills has won 3 consecutive conference games, including last week’s 63-0 victory at Riverview. Zamarrion McDonald ran for 2 TDs, Dailen Coleman returned a blocked punt for a TD and Allan Hall returned a punt for a score.
Riverview (1-6, 1-3) at FORREST CITY (3-4, 2-2): Riverview has scored 6 points in the past 3 games. Forrest City do-it all senior Kevin Young (3-3 passing, 101 yards, 2 TDs; 16-279 rushing, 5 TDs) led the way in last week’s 54-8 win over Bald Knob. Vonterrious Williams‘ only catch went 80 yards for a TD. LB Lee Smith (13 tackles), DE Frank Crutcher (5 tackles, FF) and safety Darius Tripp (6 tackles, 1 FF) led the defensive charge.
Bald Knob (1-6, 0-4) at CAC (2-5, 2-2): Bald Knob gave up almost 500 yards and 14 yards per play in last week’s 46-point loss to Forrest City. CAC alternated Jackson Plumlee (1 TD pass) and Cooper Moseley (1 TD pass) at QB in last week’s 50-14 loss to Lonoke.

No. 12 Gosnell (8-0, 4-0) at No. 5 SOUTHSIDE (7-0, 3-0): This battle of unbeatens could easily be the game of the week. Gosnell has won its 8 games (played 8 straight weeks and will take open date on Halloween after Cave City dropped to 8-man) by an average of 47-21. Gosnell led Blytheville 41-6 at halftime of last week’s expected showdown, holding the Chickasaws to a season-low 246 yards. Senior Jai Jacobs was featured on ESPN’s NFL Sunday Countdown on Sunday for his leaping catch over 2 defenders. Sophomore running back J.D. Young ran for more than 100 yards and James Spicer was the leading tackler. “They are fast at all the skill spots,” Southside Coach Kenny Simpson says. “We must tackle and cover well.” Southside has won its 7 games by an average of 40-11. Senior Owen McLaughlin had 25 carries, 210 yards and 3 TDs in last week’s 38-6 win over Highland. Brayden York intercepted 2 passes, returning 1 for a TD; safety Braden Simpson had 14 tackles.
Trumann (2-5, 1-3) at No. 16 BLYTHEVILLE (4-2, 2-1): Trumann has beaten Blytheville 3 of the past 5 seasons, but Blytheville won last season by 6 points. Trumann gained 131 yards in last week’s 42-14 loss to Pocahontas. Arzell Rulford (15-103 rushing, 2 TDs) led the Wildcats. Blytheville’s Courtney Rogers ran 17 times for 136 yards and 1 TD in last week’s 35-point loss to Gosnell.
Jonesboro Westside (1-5, 0-3) at POCAHONTAS (3-3, 1-2): Jonesboro Westside used last week’s open date to heal up. Pocahontas enters off a 28-point win over Trumann. QB Spencer James completed 11 of 13 passes for 196 yards and 3 TDs and ran 15 times for 111 yards. Junior Xavyer Ballard ran for 2 TDs; Brendyn Arnold caught 4 passes for 99 yards and 2 TDs. Arnold returned an interception for a TD. Bruce Reccio had 9 tackles, and Mason Priest intercepted 1 pass.
HIGHLAND (3-4, 1-3) at Marshville, Mo. (3-5): Highland picked up this game after Cave City dropped to 8-man football in August. The Rebels have lost consecutive games to Blytheville and Southside after playing well in the first half. The Rebels trailed Southside 14-6 in the third quarter last week before losing 38-6. Marshville, Mo.,plays its final game of the season and enters on a 4-game losing streak.

No. 1 DARDANELLE (7-0, 4-0) at No. 11 Ozark (6-1, 4-0): Also could easily be the game of the week as the winner takes control of the conference. Ozark has a 7-1 record at home the past 2 seasons and enters this game with confidence after last week’s 51-20 win over Pottsville. Junior RB Easton Fox (18-152 rushing, 2 TDs) and sophomore John Skolarski (16-147 rushing, 4 TDs) sparked a ground attack that averaged 8.6 yards per carry. Junior LB Adden Richardson and sophomore CB Kanyon Connelly led the Hillbillies with 7 tackles each. Dardanelle trailed Lamar 21-7 at halftime last week before rallying for a 35-21 victory. Senior QB Creed Vega (154 passing yards, 2 TDs; 155 rushing, 3 TDs; 11 tackles) led the way. Rod Chaten caught 3 passes for 83 yards and 1 TD and made 8 stops at CB. Breydin Hardy led the defense with 20 tackles (3 TFL and 1 sack), while lineman Paden Davis earned an 85-percent blocking grade and registered 9 stops and Charlie Poteete earned a 90 -percent blocking grade and made 4 tackles. LB Ian Branson made 11 tackles and averaged 7.5 yards every time he touched the ball on offense. An opposing coach says: “Ozark up front is as good as anyone and they are playing like it. They have all the momentum and play so well at home.”
Waldron (0-7, 0-4) at No. 9 CLINTON (6-1, 3-1): Winless Waldron surrenders nearly 45 points per game, and the Bulldogs gave up 244 yards rushing in last week’s 35-14 setback against Mena. Clinton bounced back from a 2-point loss to top-ranked Dardanelle with a mercy-rule win last week over Dover. Yellow Jackets QB Brodie Dufrene passed for 267 yards and 5 TDs vs. Dover; Colton Warren had a 66-yard yard TD reception and Rylan Jones caught 2 TDs. Zach Hunt-Gonzales made 10.5 tackles and forced 3 fumbles.
Lamar (3-4, 1-3) at No. 18 POTTSVILLE (4-3, 2-2): Both teams are battling injuries. Lamar led Dardanelle 21-7 in the third quarter last week before losing 35-21. Senior QB Eli Jones threw a 74-yard TD on his only pass attempt, and ran 11 times for 36 yards and 1 TD before getting injured. Fullback Corbin Cowell led the Warriors’ rushing attack with 26 carries, 114 yards and 1 TD. Junior LB’s Rylan Mendez and Grady Marvel each registered 9 tackles. Pottsville senior slotback Keagan Jones broke a 65-yard run on Pottsville’s first offensive snap last week, but injured his shoulder on the play and didn’t return. He is doubtful this week. Sophomore LB Penn Helton led the Apaches defense with 10 tackles. “Lamar is like us, very beat up,” Pottsville Coach Bryan Rust says.
No. 20 MENA (5-2, 2-2) at Dover (0-7, 0-4): Mena handled rival Waldron last week 35-14 behind dual-threat QB Tripp Hensley (6-11-101 passing, 2 TDs; 12-184-3 TD rushing) filled up the stat sheet. Guice Anderson caught 3 passes for 68 yards and 2 TDs, and made 6 tackles. Dover has battled injuries since Week 4 and has 18 players available this week, Coach Mark King says. Junior QB Matthew Krentz, RB Sailor Smith and FB Zane Grant have played well.

HG Haskell (4-3, 2-2) at No. 3 NASHVILLE (5-2, 4-0): Nashville has won 4 of the 5 games it’s played vs. HG Haskell, including last season 42-9. HG Haskell lost to Arkadelphia last week 45-14. Cam Taylor (81 rushing yards, TD; 13 tackles) led HG Haskell. Nashville dumped Ashdown 56-14 a week ago. Sophomore QB Jacob Hopson (109 rushing yards, 3 TDs) and WR Gauge Applegate (5-63 receiving, TD) made things go on offense. DE Makhi Johnson made 7 tackles (4 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 FR) and LB Abari Williams had 6 tackles (2 TFL, 1 sack).
Ashdown (1-6, 1-3) at No. 4 ARKADELPHIA (6-1, 3-1): Arkadelphia won its third consecutive game last week, downing HG Haskell by 31 points. Junior QB Bryston McCoy passed fro 254 yards and 5 TDs. Orion Roberts (5-89 receiving, 4 TDs) also returned a kickoff for a TD. Bryce Meakin caught 5 passes for 54 yards and 1 TD. Malachi Hamilton (12 tackles), Marion Brownlee (10 tackles) and Xzavion Williams (10 tackles, 1 sack) led the defense. Ashdown’s Bryson French caught 8 passes for 100 yards and 1 TD in last week’s 56-14 loss vs. Nashville.
Genoa Central (1-6, 0-4) at No. 10 BAUXITE (5-2, 2-2): Genoa Central has scored 32 points in its 4 conference losses. Bauxite beat Malvern 41-16 last week behind an outstanding effort from its offensive line, Coach Caleb Perry says. Sophomore Wyatt Foreman passed for 139 yards and 1 TD and ran for 161 yards and 4 TDs. Senior Cole Witherington caught 4 passes for 66 yards and 1 TD; Bauxite’s defense forced 2 fumbles and Austin Hastings recorded an interception. Bernie Fox paced the Miners with 11 tackles.
No. 19 MALVERN (4-3, 3-1) at Fountain Lake (3-4, 1-3): Malvern must bounce back from last week’s 25-point loss to Bauxite. Senior Tavien Clegg led the Leopards by running for 119 yards and 1 TD. Fountain Lake celebrated 50 years of fielding a football team last week by blanking Genoa Central 42-0.

Star City (0-7, 0-4) at No. 6 HAMBURG (6-1, 4-0): Winless Star City struggled to slow Warren in last week’s 42-14 loss. Hamburg hammered Crossett 45-7 last week in the Ashley County Bowl. Senior Nikel Lewis ran for 149 yards and 4 TDs and QB Kaeden Thomas completed 10 of 12 passes for 133 yards and 1 TD, and ran for 1 TD. Middle linebacker Aiden Robinson made 14 tackles; Keyvion Duckery intercepted 2 passes.
DEWITT (4-3, 1-3) at Crossett (2-5, 1-3): DeWitt has lost consecutive conference games to Stuttgart and Helena. The Dragons led Helena in the fourth quarter last week, but allowed a kickoff return for a TD and lost 54-38. Marshawn Bowers led the Dragons with 8 catches for 109 yards and 2 TDs; Cam Mitchell led the defense with 10 tackles. Crossett senior CJ Brown caught 4 passes for 57 yards and a TD in last week’s 45-7 loss to Hamburg; Jackson Mills made 12 tackles.
Monticello (2-5, 1-3) at No. 17 HELENA (4-3, 2-2): The winner takes a big step toward the playoffs. Monticello has won 13 of the past 17 over Helena, including last season by 22 points. Monticello hung with Stuttgart last week before losing 52-28. Keavan Brown ran 14 times for 152 yards and 2 TDs last week to help Helena rally past DeWitt 54-38.
