Harrison has won 8 of the past 12 against Farmington, but the Cardinals won 38-14 last fall. Farmington Coach Tommy Tice returns to F.S. Garrison Stadium. Tice coached Harrison for 29 seasons, winning the 1999 state championship. Tice has 304 career wins as a head coach, the second-most in state history, and needs 45 more to catch the late Frank McClellan. Farmington pounded Pea Ridge 52-0 a week ago. Senior QB Ayden Lester returned from an injury that kept him out of the previous game, completing 10 of 18 passes for 189 yards and 1 touchdown, and running for 2 TDs. Harrison’s Lucas Brumley (3-160 receiving, including 61-yard TD) made big plays in last week’s 41-13 win over Alma. QB Gavin Jones passed for 235 yards and 2 TDs and ran for a TD; Killian Eddings ran for 126 yards and 1 TD. DE Aspen Stephens made 7 tackles and returned a fumble for a TD; DE Mason Isbell had 6 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

No.. 19 Jacksonville (2-2, 0-1 ) at No. 1 JOE T. ROBINSON (4-0; 1-0): Undefeated Joe T. Robinson moves into the top spot in this week’s rankings after whipping Watson Chapel 58-0. QB Reece Simpson threw 11 passes, and 5 of them went for TDs. The Senators scored twice on defense and held Watson Chapel to 93 yards. Joe T. Robinson’s Kevin “Deuce” Williams caught a 32-yard TD pass, ran for a TD, threw a 32-yard TD pass and returned an interception 23 yards for a TD. Jacksonville must fix its running attack after being held to minus-1 yard in last week’s 12-point loss at Pine Bluff.
No. 15 Pine Bluff (1-3, 1-0) at No. 10 MAUMELLE (2-2, 1-0): Maumelle QB Levi Warrior passed for 218 yards and 1 TD and ran 5 times for 49 yards in last week’s 27-14 win over Beebe. Jacob Henry ran for 2 TDs; WRs Jackson Hampton and Christian Jackson combined for 10 catches, 208 yards and 1 TD. The Hornets defense held Beebe to 200 yards and forced 3 turnovers. Pine Bluff picked up its first win, downing Jacksonville 25-13. Sophomore QB Jamar Morrow threw 3 TD passes, including 2 to sophomore Dedrick Dunn. The Zebras held Jacksonville’s previously high-powered rushing attack to minus-1 yard. LB Mario Jones intercepted a pass with 2:55 left to seal the victory.
Watson Chapel (0-4; 0-1) at No. 6 SEARCY (4-0, 1-0): Watson Chapel was outgained 353-93 in last week’s 58-0 loss to Joe T. Robinson. Coach Steven Heard says the Wildcats players and coaches have continued to improve and gel. “You don’t see our players losing their composure anymore, and you don’t see them quitting or giving up,” Heard says. Searcy jumped on White Hall 36-0 in the first half last week, easing to a 50-7 victory. Sophomore QB Jacob Miles passed for 182 yards and 2 TDs; senior Kobe White ran 13 times for 85 yards and 1 TD. Junior DL Jayden Simmons made 4 tackles, including 2 sacks; DB Deandre Shockley intercepted 1 pass and ran for a TD.
White Hall (0-4, 0-1) at No. 18 BEEBE (2-2, 0-1): White Hall has won 7 of the past 9 in the series, including 28-16 last season. Beebe lost to Maumelle 27-14 last week. DeMarco Moore (5-43 receiving) led the Badgers; Luke Lewis led the defense with 11 tackles and 1 interception. White Hall trailed Searcy 36-0 in the second quarter last week and lost 50-7.
5A EAST
No. 14 Harding Academy (2-2, 1-0) at No. 8 VALLEY VIEW (3-1, 1-0): Valley View held previously unbeaten Paragould to 62 yards in last week’s 35-0 victory. Carter Wallace (16-150 rushing, 3 TDs) and LB Ryder Wooten (11 tackles, 6 TFL, 1 fumble recovery) led the way. Harding Academy QB Krews Wray threw 3 TD passes in last week’s 36-0 win over Greene County Tech. Kam Pryor caught 1 TD pass and threw 2 more.
Brookland (0-4, 0-1) at No. 17 NETTLETON (2-2, 1-0): Nettleton is 5-0 all-time against Brookland, including 42-20 a year ago. The Raiders rallied from a 9-0 deficit last week to down Batesville 35-12. RB Xavier Harrell ran for 141 yards and 2 TDs; Calamarre Harrell had 71 yards and 2 TDs. Damin Coleman had 12 tackles. Brookland played well in last week’s 32-27 loss to Wynne. Senior RB Gabe Carter ran for 161 yards; senior Mark Taylor ran for 121 yards.
No. 20 WYNNE (2-2, 1-0) at Greene Co. Tech (0-4, 0-1): Wynne has won 20 of the past 22 over GCT. The Yellowjackets slipped past Brookland 32-27 last week. Wynne ran for 310 yards, led by senior Christian Wren (71 rushing, 3 TDs; 50-yard TD catch). Junior QB Grant O’Guinn ran for 98 yards and passed for 82 yards; offensive linemen Wes Fuller, MJ Hodges and Gage Rice all earned championship-effort blocking grades. Winless GCT failed to score in last week’s 36-point loss to Harding Academy. The Eagles hung in, trailing 20-0 in the third quarter.
Paragould (3-1, 0-1) at BATESVILLE (0-4, 0-1): Batesville hasn’t lost to the Rams since 1994, when Paragould was known as Ridgecrest. Batesville led Nettleton 9-0 last week, but lost 35-12. Junior Rourke Sevier racked up 18 tackles and recovered 2 fumbles; junior CB Xavier Pierce made 7 tackles and 1 interception. Zach Flowers led Paragould’s defense with 12.5 tackles in last week’s 35-0 loss to Valley View.
5A SOUTH
LR PARKVIEW (1-3, 0-1) at De Queen (3-1, 1-0): LR Parkview’s 3-point loss to Hot Springs was its first conference setback since losing at Benton 30-23 in Week 6, 2021. Junior Dallas Bledsoe ran 6 yards for a TD and took a short pass 70 yards for another TD. De Queen picked up its first conference win in a year, beating Hope 56-25 last week. Senior Rylan Pickett ran for 64 yards and 4 TDs; Landon Wise had 212 yards and 1 TD.
Texarkana, Arkansas High (0-4, 0-1) at No. 11 CAMDEN FAIRVIEW (1-3, 0-1): These rivals have split the past 14 meetings, with Camden Fairview winning last fall 68-24. Camden Fairview lost a heartbreaker at HS Lakeside last week, 33-28. QB Brodie Dow passed for 369 yards and 2 TDs, including a 29-yarder to Dayton Browning (10-48 rushing, TD; 10-159 receiving). Arkansas High lost to Magnolia 36-0 last week, the first time the Razorbacks have been shut out since the 2022 opener (48-0 loss vs. Watson Chapel).
No. 3 HS LAKESIDE (3-1, 1-0) at No. 12 Magnolia (3-1, 1-0): Magnolia has won 12 of the past 23 in the series, with HS Lakeside winning 36-7 a year ago. The Panthers ran for 279 yards and the defense recorded 10 sacks and three turnovers in last week’s 36-0 win over Texarkana (Arkansas High). Senior Chevis Johnson had 11 tackles and 3.5 sacks, while LB/S GeTyren “Bubba” Williams had four tackles, intercepted two passes, and forced one fumble. HS Lakeside senior safety Chris Ford intercepted a pass near the goal line with 50 seconds left last week to secure a 33-28 win over Camden Fairview. Senior Romeo Oseguera kicked two field goals; junior Peter Ohman ran for 2 TDs, including a 32-yarder.
Hope (1-3, 0-1) at No. 5 HOT SPRINGS (3-1, 1-0): Hot Springs must come down from the high of beating previously top-ranked LR Parkview 23-20. Senior QB Sedrick “Bishop” Allen passed for 303 yards and 3 TDs, 2 of them to Ja’Marcis Morning (5-174 yards). Sophomore WR Gabe Jaime (5-73) caught a TD pass, and his brother, senior Luey Jaime, caught 4 passes for 46 yards and made 3 tackles on defense. Free safety Treven Edington made 12 tackles and intercepted 2 passes, including 1 at the 6 with 1:12 left to secure the victory. Middle linebacker LeBrian Jordan led the Trojans with 17 tackles. Hope’s Trey Hoglund passed for 195 yards and 3 TDs in last week’s 56-25 loss to De Queen; Jaiden Brown caught 7 passes for 112 yards and 1 TD.

Alma (1-3, 0-1) at No. 9 MORRILTON (3-1, 0-1): Alma has won 13 of the past 19 in the series, with Morrilton pulling out a 1-point win a year ago. Alma nose guard Demetrius Humphrey led the Airedales with 9 tackles, including 1 sack, in last week’s 41-13 setback to Harrison. Sophomore Dallas Perkins ran for 97 yards and 1 TD. Morrilton’s defense allowed 385 yards and 6 TDs in last week’s 52-21 loss at Greenbrier.
No. 2 GREENBRIER (4-0, 1-0) at Clarksville (1-3, 0-1): Greenbrier vaults to No. 2 in this week’s rankings after blasting previously unbeaten Morrilton 52-21 a week ago. Senior Enoch Assan ran for 220 yards and 5 TDs, and caught one pass for 45 yards before being ejected in the second half. He’ll miss this week’s game. Junior Trendon Moseley (3-80 receiving, TD) and QB Jack Palmer passed for 281 yards. Sophomore NG Jonah Klosky had 6 tackles, including 2 TFL and 1 sack. Ethan Quattlebaum registered 6 tackles and 1 sack. Clarksville’s Cole Frizell had 10 pancake blocks in last week’s 48-0 loss to Vilonia; Slade Bean made 4 tackles and 1 interception.
No. 16 VILONIA (2-2, 1-0) at Pea Ridge (0-4, 0-1): Vilonia has won both meetings against Pea Ridge, including last fall 28-23. Vilonia QB Coleson Ashcraft threw 3 TD passes and ran for 1 in last week’s 48-0 win over Clarksville. Safety Trent Perry returned an interception 95 yards for a TD; safety Jeremy Andrews made 7 tackles. Pea Ridge safety Caleb Thornton led the Blackhawks in tackles and blocked an extra point in last week’s 52-0 setback at Farmington. RB Tristan German leads Pea Ridge in rushing; LB Cade Perry has been consistent, Coach Tony Travis says.
