The winner plays Maumelle for the conference title (Searcy is at Maumelle in Week 9, and Joe T. Robinson hosts Maumelle in Week 10). Joe T. Robinson (winners of 4 conference titles in the past 5 years) has outscored its opponents this fall 343-94. Joe T. Robinson senior Kevin “Deuce” Williams sparked last week’s 49-24 win over Beebe by rushing 19 times for 228 yards and 4 TDs. Junior Bryshun Cunningham had 10 carries for 73 yards and 1 TD, while senior Jackson Redmon‘s 1 reception went 39 yards for a TD. Redman had 12 tackles while fellow linebacker Isiah Reece made 20 stops, including 1 sack.
Searcy hasn’t won a conference title since 2019, when it also won the state championship. The Lions beat Pine Bluff 50-22 last week, jumping to a 30-8 advantage in the second quarter. Sophomore quarterback Jacob Miles hit 21 of 26 passes for 350 yards and 6 TDs, with junior Will Manning catching 10 passes for 231 yards and 4 TDs. Senior Koby White paced Searcy’s ground attack with 13 carries for 61 yards. Junior safety Deandre Shockley made 6 tackles ( including 5 tackles for loss); junior linebacker Kayden Hickman led the Lions with 9 tackles.

No. 10 MAUMELLE (5-2, 4-0) at White Hall (1-6, 1-3): Maumelle QB Levi Warrior set the school’s single-game passing record with 396 yards and 5 TDs in last week’s 49-31 decision over Jacksonville. Jacob Henry ran for 89 yards and 2 TDs, had 86 yards receiving with 2 TDs and intercepted two passes. Christian Jackson (9-180 rushing, 2 TDs) led the running game. Jayden Baker led Maumelle’s defense with 5 tackles and 1 interception. White Hall beat Watson Chapel 32-28 last week for its first win. Xavier Wallace (118 rushing yards) and QB Wyatt Golden (135 passing, TD; 50 yards rushing, 2 TDs) led the way.
BEEBE (4-3, 2-2) at Jacksonville (2-5, 0-4): Beebe hung with Joe T. Robinson last week before losing 49-24. Senior Curtis Goodrich (26-127 rushing, 2 TDs) and Kam Johnson (7-74 rushing) were the statistical leaders. TA Lewis ran for a TD on a swinging gate play before halftime. Jacksonville lost at Maumelle by 18 points last week. Titans RB Mason Ball ran for 187 yards and 4 TDs.
Watson Chapel (0-7, 0-4) at PINE BLUFF (1-6, 1-3): Pine Bluff trailed Searcy 30-8 at halftime last week before losing 50-22 as the Zebras played without suspended coach Michael Williams. Sophomore QB Jamar Morrow (291 passing, 3 TDs) connected with senior Quentin Roy (5-160 receiving, TDs of 64 and 60 yards). Watson Chapel played well last week before losing to White Hall 32-28. Malachi Rayford ran for 85 yards and 2 TDs, and Jakylinn Battles returned a kickoff 80 yards for a TD.
5A EAST
No. 8 VALLEY VIEW (6-1, 4-0) at Greene Co. Tech (1-6, 1-3): Valley View allowed 2 TDs (had shut out previous 3 opponents) in last week’s 48-14 win over Brookland, its 18th consecutive conference win. Carter Wallace ran for 144 yards and 3 TDs, and QB Taylor Hyneman passed for 177 yards and 1 TD and ran for a TD. Barrett Mallett had 99 yards (50 receiving, 49 rushing), and WR Levin Manning caught 4 passes for 116 yards and 1 TD. Greene County Tech has scored a combined 10 points in the past 2 games in losses to Brookland and Nettleton.
No. 15 Nettleton (5-2, 4-0) at No. 14 HARDING ACADEMY (4-3, 3-1): The winner likely hosts a first-round playoff game. Harding Academy jumped on Paragould 19-0 in the first quarter last week, easing to a 26-6 victory. QB Krews Wray, along with Max Howell and Cam Pryor ran for Wildcat TDs; Easton Baker returned an interception 61 yards for a TD. Nettleton RB Xavier Harrell ran for more than 100 yards in last week’s 34-3 win over Greene County Tech. LB Darius McCuiston and DB Torrence Sparks led the Raiders’ defense.
No. 20 BATESVILLE (2-5, 2-2) at Brookland (1-6, 1-3): Batesville remained in playoff contention with last week’s 36-35 OT win over Wynne. Senior QB Cole Bentz passed for 260 yards and 3 TDs, with TD passes to junior Xavier Pierce (3-80), senior Daniel Patterson (4-50), and sophomore Caleb Murrah (2-91 receiving; 16-46 rushing, 2 TDs). Murrah also ran 16 times for 46 yards and 2 TDs. Junior LB Rourke Sevier led the Pioneers with 24 tackles and 1 fumble recovery. Brookland can make the playoffs with at least 2 more wins this year. The Bearcats have lost 4 games by a TD or less, including conference setbacks to Wynne and Nettleton by a combined 6 points.
Paragould (3-4, 0-4) at WYNNE (2-5, 1-3): Wynne ran for 483 yards in last week’s 36-35 overtime loss at Batesville. Christian Wren (24-183 rushing, 2 TDs) and Ashton McDaniel (14-143 rushing, TD; TD pass). Martin Hodges, Wes Fuller, John Mills and Cooper Thompson earned the highest blocking grades. Wren blocked a punt and recorded 5 tackles at linebacker, while DB McDaniel had 3 tackles. Paragould’s Kevion Padgett made 5 tackles (2 TFL, 1 sack) and forced 1 fumble in last week’s 20-point loss to Harding Academy. Dillion Burgess and Izaih Flowers each made 7 tackles.
5A SOUTH
No. 3 HS LAKESIDE (6-1, 4-0) at De Queen (3-4, 1-3): HS Lakeside scored 42 first-quarter points as it clobbered Hope 69-14 last week. Senior QB Wally Wolcott passed for 417 yards and 4 TDs in the first half, throwing to Ajay Burns (3-117 receiving, TD) and Luke Wrublesky (3-117 receiving, 1 TD). De Queen trailed Camden Fairview 41-0 at halftime last week before losing 48-14.
Texarkana (0-7, 0-4) at No. 6 HOT SPRINGS (6-1, 4-0): Hot Springs’ Eric Luna kicked a field goal with 4.8 seconds left to help Hot Springs squeak past Magnolia 57-55. Senior QB Sedrick Allen (314 passing, 4 TDs; 7-96 rushing, 2 TDs) passed for 314 yards and 4 TDs, and ran 7 times for 96 yards and 2 TDs. Senior Ja’Marcis Morning and sophomore Gabe Jamie each caught 2 TDs. Seniors Lebrian Jordan and Colby Holder each recorded 12 tackles. Winless Texarkana has lost its 4 conference games by an average of 39-13.
No. 13 Magnolia (3-4, 1-3) at No. 7 LR PARKVIEW (4-3, 3-1): Improving LR Parkview has won 3 consecutive games, including last week’s 42-14 decision over Texarkana. Tailback Sadiq Goji and TB/WR Dak Crosby continue sparking the Patriots’ offense. Magnolia has lost consecutive conference games by 2 points each. Junior Jamaijha Marshall ran for 152 yards and 1 TD in last week’s 57-55 setback to Hot Springs. Senior Ike Ainsworth ran for 79 yards and 2 TDs; seniors Kaleb Roach and Carmelo Johnson each ran for TDs.
No. 11 CAMDEN FAIRVIEW (4-3, 3-1) at Hope (1-6, 0-4): Camden Fairview jumped on De Queen early last week (led 41-0 at halftime) before winning 48-14. Junior Demarion Robinson (6-114 rushing, 3 TDs) and junior QB Brodie Down (229 passing, 4 TDs in first half) did most of the damage in the first half. Hope lost by 55 points at HS Lakeside last week, giving up 609 yards and committing 2 turnovers.
5A WEST
Pea Ridge (1-6, 1-3) at No. 2 GREENBRIER (7-0, 4-0): Greenbrier senior Enoch Assan (202 rushing, 5 TDs with 8-152, 3 TDs in first half) in last week’s 56-27 victory at Alma. Greenbrier QB Jack Palmer threw a 60-yard TD pass on Greenbrier’s second possession, leading a 35-0 barrage. Palmer threw 3 first-half TDs. Psalter Mahan (5-100 receiving, TD) and Trenden Mosley (4-87 receiving, TD) were the top receivers. Brady Wilbanks led Greenbrier’s defense with 8 tackles; Rupe Adams had 5 tackles and 1 interception. Pea Ridge picked up its first win, clobbering Clarksville 48-6. Tristan German ran for 127 yards in the first half, while Rafe Hargiss led the Blackhawks in tackles. Keegan Perryman and Ethan Saragusa each recorded a pick-6.
No. 9 Morrilton (6-1, 3-1) at No. 4 FARMINGTON (5-2, 3-1): The winner likely takes the No. 2 playoff seed. Morrilton rallied past Harrison 38-34 in the final minutes last week. Senior QB Maddox Berry passed for 233 yards and 5 TDs; Champ McNabb (10-143 receiving, 2 TDs), Jamarcus Sandidge (2 TD passes), and Dante Cox (1 TD reception) were the top receivers. Linebacker Landon Boyer (11 tackles) led the defense; Dominick McCoy (7 tackles, 1 interception) contributed. Farmington senior QB Ayden Lester passed for 244 yards and 4 TDs in the first half of last week’s 45-13 victory over Vilonia. Senior Dawson Keaton (5-108 receiving, 2 TDs) was the top target, including a nifty catch-and-run on the first possession.
Clarksville (1-6, 0-4) at ALMA (2-5, 1-3): Alma QB Jay Lemieux (305 passing, 3 TDs) put up solid numbers in last week’s 56-27 setback to Morrilton. Dylan Jackson led the Airedales receivers with 6 catches, 173 yards, and 2 TDs. Clarksville lost at Pea Ridge 48-6 last week. Denver Pickartz led the Panthers on both sides of the ball (116 offensive yards and 8 tackles). OL Cole Frizzell (4 pancake blocks) and Ta Paluar Htoo (TD pass) contributed. Julio Banuelos made 4 stops, and Ben Holland had 3 tackles
No. 12 HARRISON (3-4, 2-2) at No. 18 Vilonia (3-4, 2-2): A key game for the possible No. 4 playoff spot. Harrison led Morrilton late last week before losing 38-34. QB Gavin Jones ran for 147 yards and 1 TD, and threw 2 TD passes. Center/NG Denver Woehl (4 pancake blocks on offense; 8 tackles) excelled on both sides. Inside LB Ty Bundy had a team-best 14 tackles. Vilonia trailed Farmington 38-0 at halftime last week, before losing 45-13. Backup QB Bryce Myers threw 2 TD passes to Lincoln Harrison in the second half.
