WEEK 11 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS and highlighted)
TOP OF THE BRACKET
W1 Bentonville (10-0, 7-0) gets a bye this week. Cole Slepecki and crew finished up 2025 regular season play as the undefeated 7A West champs. The Tigers await the winner of Cabot and Springdale in the quarterfinals.
C2 Conway (8-2, 6-1) gets a bye this week. Kambrien Blackmon made explosive plays a week ago, but the Wampus Cats lost to Bryant 28-21. The Wampus Cats have an extra week to prep for a quarterfinal matchup against the winner of Bentonville West and North Little Rock.
FIRST-ROUND MATCHUPS
W5 Springdale (4-6, 3-4) at C4 CABOT (4-6, 4-3): Springdale toppled Northside in Week 10 for its first victory since beating Har-Ber Oct. 10. Wilder Lherisse and Carson Hayter made big plays on the ground, and led the Bulldogs to 21 second-half points. The Bulldogs’ defense enters the playoffs having yielded 43 or more points in 5 of their past 6 games. Cabot has won 3 of its past 4, the only loss in that stretch to No. 1 Bryant. Cabot has scored at least 28 points in 8 of its past 9 games. In what could turn into a track meet, Cabot outscores Springdale and travels to undefeated Bentonville in the quarterfinals.
C6 North Little Rock (3-7, 2-5) at W3 BENTONVILLE WEST (7-3, 5-2): West has lost 3 games this season to tough opponents — No. 1 Bentonville, No. 3 Rogers, and Greenwood, the top-ranked Class 6A team. Tre Thompson scored 3 touchdowns and had 255 total yards in last week’s 48-31 loss, as Bentonville lit up the Wolverine defense. North Little Rock is turning things around in Brad Bolding’s first season, but Cabot had its way offensively with the Charging Wildcats in Week 10’s 41-24 win. West wins it at home and travels to Conway in the quarterfinals.
BOTTOM OF THE BRACKET
C1 Bryant (10-0, 7-0) gets a bye after the Hornets’ defense got the stops it needed to win the 7A Central crown 28-21 and stay undefeated. Bryant awaits the Fayetteville-Pulaski Academy winner in the quarterfinals.
W2 Rogers (9-1, 6-1) gets a bye after finishing the regular season averaging 53.9 points per game, its only loss coming in a 3-point defeat to conference champ Bentonville. The Mounties and QB Jeff Regan host the winner of Little Rock Christian and Springdale Har-Ber in the quarterfinals.
C5 Pulaski Academy (3-7, 3-4) at W4 FAYETTEVILLE (6-4, 4-3): Fayetteville QB Hank Hendrix aired it out again (406 yards, 3 TDs) and the Purple Dogs cruised to victory over Har-Ber. Fayetteville has won 4 of its past 5, scoring 48 or more points in each of those victories. Pulaski Academy trailed LRCA by 1 score in the third quarter, but the Warriors pulled away late. The Bruins have dropped 4 of their past 5. Fayetteville enjoys home-field advantage and outscores Pulaski Academy to survive and advance.
W6 Springdale Har-Ber (3-7, 2-5) at C3 LITTLE ROCK CHRISTIAN (7-3, 5-2): QB Brice Owens threw for nearly 300 yards and Hayden Branch exceeded 100 yards last week, but the loss to Fayetteville has Har-Ber entering the playoffs having lost 4 of 5. Little Rock Christian defeated rival Pulaski Academy last week. The Warriors enter the playoffs winning 4 of their last 5. Jackson Ward was a workhorse, running for 176 tough first-half yards. Coach Dustin Grimmett and Little Rock Christian defeat Har-Ber and travel to Rogers in the quarterfinals.
