No. 3 BENTONVILLE WEST (3-0) at No. 6 Fayetteville (2-1): Bentonville West QB Sutton Mackey has led the Wolverines to an undefeated start. Last time out, he tossed 3 touchdowns in a win over Edmond Santa Fe, Okla. VJ Warren, who is rarely brought down on first contact, ran for more 100 yards before halftime on 8 carries. Ryan Adjam (more than 100 receiving yards, 2 TDs vs. Edmond Santa Fe) has established himself as one of 7A’s top wideouts. Fayetteville outscored and outlasted Class 6A Sylvan Hills 52-42. Terrence Garden is a true workhorse who can handle 30 carries per contest. Aron Orgil lit up the Bears’ secondary with 400 yards. Fayetteville has home-field advantage, but West wins this one on the road with tough defense.

No. 9 Har-Ber (2-1) at No. 1 BENTONVILLE (3-0): Har-Ber played keep-away last time out to seal the victory over LR Christian. Har-Ber retained possession for more than 6 minutes to end the game. Christian scored on a pass from QB Haden Hall to Sawyer Henry to cut it to one possession, but Har-Ber ran out the clock to win 21-14. Bentonville went on the road to defeat Hays, Kan., 21-14. The Tigers are getting it done in all 3 phases and winning low-scoring matchups. Bentonville’s sound defense makes it tough on Har-Ber by limiting the big plays.
No. 2 SHILOH CHRISTIAN (3-0) at No. 10 Rogers (0-3): Undefeated Shiloh Christian has climbed to No. 2 in Class 7A. Max Eldridge runs tough between the tackles, and the Saints take care of the football. Shiloh defeated Lincoln Christian (Okla) last time out. The Tulsa high school had won 44 straight games. Rogers looks for its first victory in 2026. The Mounties dropped their last contest to Class 5A Greenwood 28-14. Shiloh Christian QB Tate Barnard’s ability to take the top off of the Mounties secondary will be the difference.
LR Central (1-2) at No. 4 BRYANT (0-3): Central defeated Class 6A LR Southwest for its lone nonconference win. QB Montrell Thompson has weapons in Trey Stewart and Davion McLure. Bryant started 0-3 after a brutal nonconference slate, and the Hornets remained ranked No. 4 despite the winless record. Look for Bryant to keep Central’s big plays to a minimum and get its first victory in 2026.
No. 5 CONWAY (2-1) at Fort Smith Northside (2-1): Conway’s only loss was to No. 1 Bentonville when the Tigers forced 3 turnovers in a 20-14 win. Ryder Cook and Kambrien Blackmon provide plenty of spark for the Wampus Cats. Blackmon took back a punt for a TD in a blowout win over Class 6A Marion. Northside bounced back after a tough loss to Har-Ber and won over Class 6A Russellville 42-6. The defense allowed an 85-yard TD early, but the Grizzlies piled up 42 unanswered points. Jasier Posey and Keydarius Parker will make plays, but Conway simply has too much firepower.
No. 8 Pulaski Academy (1-2) at No. 7 NORTH LITTLE ROCK (3-0): Pulaski Academy fell short last week to Airline, La., 40-35. QB Caleb Sullivan continues to progress, passing for 346 yards and 3 TDs. The Bruins pushed late in the 4th quarter, but a turnover sealed it for Airline. North Little Rock went undefeated in nonconference play. Two weeks ago, the Charging Wildcats won at Springdale 42-17. Christian Reeves and Jeremiah Buckner are explosive and tough to contain. NLR wins a close one at home with size and strength up front.
7A CENTRAL
LITTLE ROCK CHRISTIAN (1-2) at Cabot (1-2): Cabot Coach Lance Clark got his first win as the Panthers held off Class 6A LR Catholic. Cabot used a huge special-teams play to defeat the Rockets a week ago when junior Bryce Moore blocked a field goal and returned it 70 yards for a score. LR Christian played Har-Ber tough last time out, but came up short as QB Brice Owens and crew retained possession for the game’s final 6:20. Christian QB Haden Hall threw for a couple of scores. Look for the Warriors to take better care of the football and handle the Panthers on the road.
7A WEST
Rogers Heritage (0-3) at SPRINGDALE (0-3): Both teams open conference play looking for a win. Springdale has big-play potential with Wilder Lherisse (85-yard TD vs. NLR). Heritage counters with Julien Castaneda and Camden Isbell, who connected on explosive plays 2 weeks ago against Sallisaw (Okla.). Springdale’s home -field advantage will be the difference.
