Conway Christian 48, Johnson County Westside 0

CONWAY — Conway Christian struck early and poured it on late, cruising to a 48-0 conference win over Johnson County Westside on Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Mission Field. Senior QB Xander Stone steered a balanced attack with multiple touchdown passes and a two‑point conversion toss, spreading the ball to four different targets behind a steady offensive line.

Stone’s first-half strikes went to Caleb McKinney on a wheel route, Kyle Cain on a catch‑and‑run, Isaiah Brister on a deep shot, and Caleb Everett on a sideline throw, while Matthew Corbin handled PATs. Conway Christian added explosive runs after halftime, including a long scoring burst from Hudson Wheeler, to trigger the sportsmanship clock.

Westside flashed fight despite a thin, banged‑up roster. Payton Williamson moved the sticks with a physical reception and a strong return; Hayden “Moose” Yarbrough churned out tough yards; and Malaki Judah anchored the trenches. Several quarterback keepers produced first downs, but the Rebels’ best drives stalled in plus territory.

Conway Christian’s defense matched the offense. Beau Campbell’s early fumble recovery flipped momentum, and Preston Elliott ended a Rebel threat with a leaping interception before intermission. Special teams helped tilt field position, with Corbin’s PAT work complemented by deep kickoffs.
