GAME OF THE WEEK:
1 P.M. SATURDAY: Southwest Oklahoma State (6-3) at OUACHITA BAPTIST (7-2): This is the game of the week because, outside of Harding, it looks like Ouachita has the next best shot at a playoff appearance — or at least it controls its fate and has a win streak going. SW Oklahoma State heads to Arkadelphia after knocking off UAM 37-21 a week ago. Ouachita snuck past Northwest Oklahoma State on the road by 7. Chris Henley, Jr. rushed for 222 yards and a touchdown. Ouachita wins as it prepares for the Reddies and the Battle of the Ravine.
OTHER GAMES:
2 P.M. SATURDAY: SOUTHERN ARKANSAS (3-6) at Southeast Oklahoma State (7-2):
SAU shocked the GAC with a dominating performance over East Central. Four different Muleriders scored rushing TDs, and Arkez Gomes ran for 2 TDs and more than 100 yards. Southeast Oklahoma State knocked off Henderson State last week. The Reddies entered the game with 1 loss. The Savage Storm came from behind and escaped with a big road win in Arkadelphia to keep their playoff hopes alive. SAU saves its best ball for late in the year, and pulls off an upset.
2 P.M. SATURDAY: HENDERSON STATE (7-2) at East Central (6-3): Henderson led 14-0 right out of the gate, but dropped to 7-2 as Southeast Oklahoma State came from behind to win last week in Arkadelphia. East Central dropped its second straight game, this time to the SAU Muleriders. Henderson bounces back and wins on the road.
2 P.M. SATURDAY: Oklahoma Baptist (3-6) at ARKANSAS TECH (4-5): Oklahoma Baptist only found the end zone once last week in a 48-10 loss to Harding. Arkansas Tech kept Southern Nazarene out of the end zone and won 47-3. Carter Hensley threw for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns with only 1 incompletion. Look for more of the same as the Wonder Boys get back to .500 with a home victory.
2 P.M. SATURDAY: Northwestern Oklahoma State (0-9) at ARKANSAS-MONTICELLO (1-8): Winless Northwestern Oklahoma State lost by 1 score for the third time last week, falling to Ouachita. OBU won 31-24 as a late interception sealed it for the Tigers. Jacob Jones threw for 269 yards and a TD and remains one of the conference’s top offensive weapons. UAM wins its second game of 2026 as Drew Forkner and crew air it out at home.
2 P.M. SATURDAY: Southern Nazarene (2-6) at HARDING (9-0): Southern Nazarene lost 47-3 last week to Arkansas Tech. Harding’s Andrew Miller became the Bisons’ all-time leading rusher in their blowout win. Harding moves to 10-0 as it continues to prepare for postseason play.
