Hayes Kibe threw three touchdown passes and Caleb Murrah rushed for 103 yards as Batesville defeated Beebe 41–14 Friday, Sept. 11.
Batesville led 7–0 after the first quarter and added 17 unanswered points in the second. A touchdown pass made it 14–0, a field goal extended the lead to 17–0, and another touchdown gave the Pioneers a 24–0 halftime advantage.
Beebe scored a touchdown in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 24–7. The teams then exchanged fumble recoveries before Tristan Prado kicked his second field goal. Batesville entered the fourth quarter ahead 27–7.

Kibe completed eight of 14 passes for 98 yards. Xavier Pierce scored twice, once rushing and once receiving. He gained 18 yards on two carries and caught two passes for 21 yards.
Murrah scored one rushing touchdown on 15 carries, with his longest run covering 39 yards. Kendall Johnson caught four passes for 61 yards and a touchdown, returned three punts for 70 yards and added a 28-yard kickoff return.
Ty Reynolds caught a seven-yard touchdown pass and recorded nine tackles, one sack, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery. Joseph Chunn finished with nine tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.
Rourke Sevier led Batesville with 14 tackles and recovered a fumble. Cooper Coleman added seven tackles, two tackles for loss and another fumble recovery.
Prado made both field-goal attempts, including a 36-yarder, and all five extra points. Five of his eight kickoffs went for touchbacks. Batesville finished with 267 yards of offense, including 169 rushing yards, and improved to 2–1. Beebe’s defense recovered two fumbles and intercepted one pass during the game.
