Senior QB Wally Wolcott orchestrated the onslaught, tossing four first‑quarter touchdowns—to WR AJ Burns, FS/WR Luke Wrublesky and WR Drew Morgan (twice)—then adding a keeper before halftime. Sophomore RB Logan Polczynski powered the ground game with three touchdowns, including a short plunge and a late‑pitch dash that stretched the lead. Behind a steady front led by T/G Tucker Young and C/G Logan Downen, the Rams controlled the line, and the defense repeatedly flipped the field as Wrublesky grabbed two first‑quarter interceptions.

Hope fought back with playmakers of its own. Senior WR/DB Noah Cheatham flipped momentum with a weaving kickoff‑return touchdown, and sophomore QB Trey Hoglund entered to spark the offense with a deep scoring strike to WR Brailyn Smith before the half. CB/WR Devante Jones and DE/TE Xavier Fields delivered several open‑field stops that slowed Lakeside’s screens in the second quarter.
