Malvern 34, Harmony Grove 21

Malvern seized control early and never let go, riding two rushing scores from senior RB Tavien Clegg and a swarming defensive front to a 34–21 win over Harmony Grove at Leopard Stadium. Senior DE/QB Kyler Wright opened the scoring with a quick screen to senior OLB/RB David Hutchins, and senior DB/QB Jabori Jacobs later slipped in at quarterback to hit junior TE Jarrett Hathcock for a red‑zone strike. Jacobs also jumped a route for a first‑half interception that set up Clegg’s second touchdown, while junior CB Elijah Hogan answered a Cardinals score with a kickoff return to the house. Up front, senior DT Brandon Jackson anchored multiple fourth‑down and short‑yardage stands, with sophomore OLB Brad Saling and sophomore DE Aaron Pinkston knifing in off the edge. Junior K Allen Cervantes was steady on extra points, and junior CB/SS Jeremiah Jimerson helped cap the half with tight coverage and a drive‑ending pressure. Hudl+1

Harmony Grove kept swinging. Senior QB Michaelangelo Zambrano uncorked a long play‑action touchdown and powered in on a 1‑yard sneak before halftime, then senior RB/SS Cameron Taylor burst free for a late fourth‑quarter score. Senior RB Jahiem Noble churned tough yardage between the tackles, TE/MLB Jackson Estes set firm edges, and K Jonah Russell was perfect on PATs. MaxPreps.com+2MaxPreps.com+2

Malvern leaned on its lines after the break, with Wright managing the pace and Clegg and senior RB Devon Junielmoving the chains to bleed the clock and close out a 4A win. (Positions verified with Hudl/MaxPreps rosters for both teams.) Hudl+1
