Magnolia 52, De Queen 30

MAGNOLIA — Magnolia turned Senior Night into a statement, racing past De Queen, 52–30, behind four first‑half rushing touchdowns from RB Jamaijha Marshall and two fourth‑quarter kickoff‑return scores by WR/DB Kaleb Roach on Friday. The Panthers led 36–6 at halftime and answered every Leopard surge after the break to close out the conference victory.

Marshall set the tone early with touchdown runs of 53 and 49 yards in the first quarter, added a 5‑yard score in the second, and broke free again from 63 yards to put Magnolia firmly in control. SB Jeremiah Cooper punched in a short rushing TD, while QB Walker Carter steered a ground‑heavy attack that repeatedly flipped field position.

Roach delivered the dagger after intermission, taking two kickoffs back for touchdowns and also snagging a first‑half interception as Magnolia’s defense swarmed. MLB Chevis Johnson anchored that unit, continuing a season in which he leads the Panthers in tackles.

De Queen showed resilience. QB Jake Martin guided three fourth‑quarter scoring drives, the Leopards forced a safety, and RB/OLB Landen Wise powered a late ground assault that trimmed the margin. Magnolia’s special teams, however, swung momentum back twice in the final period to seal it.
