Maumelle 49, Jacksonville 31

Maumelle celebrated homecoming with a wire-to-wire win, powered by a record-setting night from junior QB Levi Warrior. Warrior completed 24 of 37 passes for 396 yards and five touchdowns, spreading the ball to a deep receiver group while the Hornets’ defense came up with timely takeaways. Key skill pieces included WR Christian Jackson, RB/CB Marshaun Wiley, and RB/DB Jacob Henry

The Hornets struck first when Warrior found Wiley for an early score, then hit Henry on a screen to make it 14–0. Jacksonville answered with a 40‑yard field goal, but Jackson’s red-zone grab and a Henry Wildcat plunge pushed the margin to 27–3. A late first‑half touchdown from Jacksonville trimmed it to 27–11 at the break.

Jacksonville RB Mason Ball fueled a third‑quarter push, ripping a long scoring run to bring the Titans within 27–19. Maumelle responded immediately: Warrior dropped a deep strike to Jackson, then found Henry again to restore control at 43–19. Henry’s 4th‑quarter goal‑line score made it 49–19 before the Titans added two late touchdowns—including Ball’s third—to set the final margin. (Ball, WR Matthew Goldsberry, and QBs Jaylon Foster/Bryston Belew headline Jacksonville’s offensive roster.)

Defensively, Maumelle limited Jacksonville’s passing game and grabbed multiple interceptions—Henry among the ball hawks—to blunt the Titans’ momentum when it mattered most.
