Morrilton left no doubt in its home opener, rolling past White Hall 56–6 behind an explosive offense and opportunistic defense. Senior quarterback Maddox Berry set the tone early, completing four touchdown passes in the first half, two to wide receiver Jamarcus Sandidge and another to Dante Cox on a 49-yard strike. Sandidge also added a kickoff return for a score, giving him three total touchdowns before halftime.

Defensively, the Devil Dogs were just as dominant. Free safety Jeremiah Smallwood intercepted three passes in the first half, returning one for a 64-yard touchdown. White Hall quarterback Wyatt Golden, who passed for over 300 yards the previous week, struggled against constant pressure from Morrilton’s defensive front. Defensive end Kaden Turnerrecorded a sack, a blocked extra point, and multiple tackles for loss to keep the Bulldogs out of rhythm.

White Hall’s lone highlight came in the first quarter when Golden connected with Aiden Blightley for a 34-yard touchdown. However, penalties and turnovers plagued the Bulldogs, who failed to find consistency on either side of the ball.

Morrilton’s ground game also impressed, with Katon Robinson and Brelan Criswell finding the end zone on short runs. By halftime, the Devil Dogs had built a 49–6 lead, allowing reserves to finish the second half under a sportsmanship-rule running clock.

The Devil Dogs showed balance and depth, combining Berry’s accuracy, Sandidge’s playmaking, and a defense anchored by Smallwood and Turner. For White Hall, the game underscored the need to clean up mistakes before conference play.
