Here is the breakdown of Week 0- Pickum Challenge.

Each Week we do a challenge where everyone picks every game and calculate the weekly totals and season totals.

Top Performers

• Mike Harris led the pack with a 66/85, way ahead of everyone else. He saw the upsets coming and picked steady.

• Sylven Hobbs and Jaron West followed with 60/85, tied for second place.

• A strong group clustered right behind in the 57–59 range (Steve Crow, Hunter, Carson Ward, Chase Hattabaugh).

The Pack

• Most players landed in the mid-40s to mid-50s, right around the median of 49/85 (as shown in your form summary).

• That’s proof Week 0 was tough — a lot of upsets and tricky smaller-school matchups (Bigelow/England, Booneville/Poteau, Parkers Chapel/Foreman, Genoa Central/Spring Hill).

Lower End

• Several people were stuck in the low 40s trying to play aggressive and pick some long shots,  like Aaron Tilley (42) and Melanie Tilley (41) 

• The real outlier was Cameron with 2/85 — which is actually more impressive than anyone because even if you tried to miss every game its impossible, but then I realized he got tired after 3  questions and decided to do something else.

What Stands Out

1. Mike Harris crushed it — almost 20 points above the median. He called the coin-flip games most folks missed.

2. The biggest separators were the upsets: England, Poteau, Foreman, Genoa Central. If you nailed those, you shot up the leaderboard.

Biggest Misses (Heavy Favorite Got Knocked Off)

1. Bigelow @ England

   • Actual: England 33–14

   • Majority pick: Bigelow

   • Only 24% got it right (10/42). A lot of confidence in Bigelow — totally flipped.

2. Booneville @ Poteau (OK)

   • Actual: Poteau 28–0

   • Majority pick: Booneville

   • Just 24% correct (10/42). Out-of-state trip sunk Booneville pickers.

3. Parkers Chapel @ Foreman

   • Actual: Foreman

   • Majority pick: Parkers Chapel

   • Only 26% correct (11/42). A smaller-school upset that fooled almost everyone.

4. Spring Hill @ Genoa Central

   • Actual: Genoa Central 16–8

   • Majority pick: Spring Hill

   • Just 33% correct (14/42). Underdog win that broke brackets.

5. Maumelle @ Sylvan Hills

   • Actual: Sylvan Hills 55–54 (thriller)

   • Majority pick: Maumelle

   • Only 36% right (15/42). Classic toss-up — but the Bears squeaked it out.

Other Unique Notes

• Waldron @ Paris — Paris blanked Waldron 27–0, but most had picked Waldron. Just 36% correct.

• Izard County @ Yellville-Summit — Wild 40–38 shootout, with Izard County sneaking by. Most leaned Yellville, so only 43% right.

• Hampton @ Lafayette County — Hampton got it done 30–18, but majority expected Lafayette. Under half (45%) were correct.

• Pine Bluff @ Grenada (MS) — People backed Pine Bluff, but Mississippi showed out (42–6). Less than half picked Grenada.

• Heber Springs @ Pottsville — Pottsville 21–7, but most expected Heber Springs. 48% correct.

Strong Majority Wins

• Bryant over Benton — 90% right. Hornets were trusted and delivered in Salt Bowl.

• Mountain Home over West Plains (MO) — 74% right. Bombers picked correctly by most.

• Palestine Wheatley over Clarendon — 69% right. Public leaned right way here.
