HOT SPRINGS — Joe T. Robinson pulled away after halftime to beat Hot Springs Lakeside 35–16 on Friday. Senior free safety/running back Kevin “Deuce” Williams powered the Senators with 279 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns — a 6-yard rush, a 98-yard kickoff return, and an 11-yard reception. Junior quarterback Reese Simpson went 8-of-19 for 200 yards and three scores, including a 75-yard strike to senior receiver Josiah Warrior-Benson and a 10-yard toss to junior wideout Kyrin Grimes.

Lakeside made things tight into the third quarter. Junior running back Peter Omen punched in a 3-yard touchdown, sophomore kicker Logan Polczynski added a 17-yard field goal, and senior two-way standout Luke Wrubleski scooped up a blocked punt for a 5-yard score. Senior quarterback Wally Wolcott completed several key throws to receivers Drew Morgan and AJay Burns, while Arkansas Razorback commit Tucker Young anchored the Rams’ offensive line.

Robinson’s defense set the tone late. Senior linebacker Jackson Redman recorded 11 tackles, including five for loss, while senior defensive end Caleb Smith registered a sack. Junior kicker William Tait was perfect on five extra-point attempts.
