Atkins leaned on a swarming defense and two scoring strikes from junior quarterback Cole Crawford to defeat Prescott 27‑6 in a Class 3A first‑round matchup.

Crawford opened the scoring late in the first, zipping a 15‑yard touchdown to Dakota Hamm. The Red Devils doubled the margin in the second quarter when Cooper Goodall punched in a 1‑yard direct‑snap run. Prescott answered with its best drive of the night—a 13‑play, 72‑yard march—finished by freshman quarterback Desmond Prater’s 1‑yard keeper; a 41‑yard completion to Roderick McKinney keyed the series.
