Week 1 First Community Bank Scholar Athlete of the Week Luke Reynolds – Newport

Newport’s Reynolds Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week Newport quarterback Luke Reynolds has been selected as the First Community Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, honoring his success both on and off the field. Reynolds carries a 4.0 GPA and works at First Community Bank, gaining experience in the financial industry he plans to pursue after high school. Next fall, he will attend Arkansas State University to study business, continuing the academic excellence he’s demonstrated throughout his high school career. In 2024, he led the Greyhounds to a 9–3 record and a state quarterfinal appearance, piling up nearly 2,700 total yards and 41 touchdowns.
