Wynne Coaching Staff

Defensive Coordinator – Justin Skender
Justin Skender has directed the Yellowjackets’ defense for six seasons, bringing toughness and consistency to the program. A former player at the University of Arkansas–Monticello,

Offensive Coordinator – Justin Crain
Justin Crain is in his second year as Wynne’s offensive coordinator. He previously served as head coach at Yellville and spent a decade as offensive coordinator at Rison, where he helped guide the Wildcats to a state championship game appearance.

Co–Offensive Coordinator – Caleb Loe
Caleb Loe joins Wynne in 2025 as co–offensive coordinator. He previously coached at Rison and served as defensive coordinator at Spring Hill, where his team advanced to a state championship game.

Special Teams Coordinator – Alex Cain
Now in his third year at Wynne, Alex Cain coordinates special teams and has also worked with the Yellowjackets’ skill positions. He previously coached at Marion and Forrest City under longtime coach Scott Reed.

Secondary – Mason Hutchins
In his first year at Wynne, Mason Hutchins works with the secondary. He previously served as a graduate assistant at the University of Arkansas under defensive coordinator Barry Odom, gaining valuable SEC coaching experience.

Slots / Receivers – Caleb Stewart
Caleb Stewart enters his second year at Wynne coaching slot receivers.

Linebackers – Johnny Lemke
A sixth-year Wynne assistant, Johnny Lemke handles linebackers. A former standout at Henderson State

Offensive Line – J.D. Woodard
J.D. Woodard, in his second year at Wynne, coaches the offensive line. A veteran coach with stops at multiple schools across Arkansas, Woodard played his college football at Ouachita Baptist University.

Junior High Head Coach – Richard Havner
Richard Havner begins his third year leading Wynne’s junior high program. A veteran coach in the state, Havner previously served as head coach at both Two Rivers and Brinkley

Cornerbacks / Running Backs – Malik Chavis
Former Arkansas Razorback and UNLV Rebel defensive back Malik Chavis joins Wynne for his first season, coaching cornerbacks and running backs. His collegiate playing career and knowledge of the secondary provide a strong foundation for developing the Yellowjackets’ athletes.
