Bragg’s Three Touchdowns Lead Osceola Past Blytheville

OSCEOLA — Kylan Bragg rushed for 99 yards on 19 carries and scored three touchdowns as Osceola defeated Blytheville 35-0 Friday at Seminole Stadium to claim the inaugural Tribal Combat Trophy.
Quarterback Deion Spears Jr. completed 15 of 23 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score, according to the broadcast’s postgame statistics.
Osceola forced punts on Blytheville’s first two possessions and scored on its first two drives. Bragg’s 3-yard run and Deizel Freeman’s extra point made it 7-0 with 7:36 left in the first quarter. Spears scored on a 1-yard sneak with 5.6 seconds remaining for a 14-0 lead.
Blytheville stopped Osceola on fourth-and-12 in the second quarter, taking over at its 29-yard line with 5:21 remaining.
The Seminoles scored on their next possession. Spears found Bragg on a 15-yard wheel route on fourth-and-six with 30 seconds left, and Freeman’s kick made it 21-0 at halftime.
Osceola’s defense held Blytheville to 18 yards in the first half. The Seminoles had 231 yards of offense at the break, including 148 passing.
Spears’ fourth-and-10 completion to Adrian Davis extended Osceola’s opening third-quarter possession. Bragg scored from 17 yards on the next play for a 27-0 lead with 7:49 remaining.
Dallas McNeal forced a fumble that Julius Jones recovered late in the third quarter. Blytheville’s Xzavion Liddell answered by recovering a fumble with 9.7 seconds left in the period.
McNeal intercepted a pass early in the fourth quarter, giving Osceola possession at Blytheville’s 39. Spears finished that drive with a 10-yard touchdown pass to Deddrick Coleman with 8:32 remaining. Davis ran for the two-point conversion.
Davis finished with seven carries for 52 yards. Osceola totaled 356 yards and held Blytheville to 111, including 15 passing yards. The Seminoles retained possession through the closing minutes and improved to 1-1.
