Dallas Bledsoe rushed for 276 yards and five touchdowns on 24 carries as Joe T. Robinson defeated Benton 56–35 Friday at Charlie George Stadium. The Senators gained 441 yards on the ground, answering a Benton comeback with touchdowns immediately before halftime and on their first possession of the third quarter.

Robinson led 14–0 before Benton completed its first scoring drive. Max Burns recovered a fumble on the Panthers’ opening snap, and Bledsoe scored on the next play, just 15 seconds into the game. Bledsoe’s 9-yard touchdown run later finished a 90-yard possession that included his 51-yard run.

Benton responded with an 80-yard drive capped by Lamarion Bradley’s short touchdown run behind Jaren Ginther, Sam Harris and Barrett Petet. Chase Cobb kept that possession alive with a 16-yard keeper on fourth-and-inches.

Bledsoe’s third touchdown restored Robinson’s 14-point advantage early in the second quarter, but Cobb scored on runs of 1 and 9 yards to tie it 21–21. A.P. Lewis’ 23-yard reception set up the first touchdown. TJ Williams’ 34-yard catch on third-and-10 positioned Benton for the tying score with 2:21 remaining.

Robinson reclaimed the lead with 29 seconds before halftime when Reece Simpson found Kyrin Grimes for a 21-yard touchdown. Bledsoe converted fourth-and-one during the drive, and Aaron Freeman followed with consecutive receptions totaling 30 yards, including a 16-yard catch on third-and-10.

The Senators then consumed 7:11 with a 13-play, 90-yard drive to open the second half. Braylyn Brown caught a third-down pass for 9 yards, Freeman added a 16-yard reception, and Bledsoe finished with an 11-yard touchdown run for a 35–21 lead.

Cobb’s 5-yard keeper brought Benton within seven with 50 seconds left in the third quarter. Manny Payne’s 7-yard catch, Bradley’s 16-yard run and Jayden Johnson’s 10-yard reception helped move that 80-yard drive. Brown immediately answered, taking a jet sweep 80 yards for a touchdown.

Burns’ second fumble recovery set up Trey Petty’s fourth-quarter touchdown run, extending Robinson’s lead to 49–28. Cobb found Jake Cloud for an 80-yard touchdown just 21 seconds later. Cloud stayed inbounds along the sideline to complete Benton’s longest scoring play.

Weston Monson then pressured Simpson into a throw Austin Hill intercepted. Lewis’ 38-yard reception moved Benton to Robinson’s 13, but a sack pushed the Panthers back before Freeman intercepted a fourth-down pass in the end zone. Two plays later, Bledsoe broke free for an 89-yard touchdown with 4:24 remaining.

Cobb finished 22 of 40 for 347 passing yards and a touchdown, adding 85 rushing yards and three scores. Cloud caught eight passes for 155 yards. Jude Turner recorded 13 tackles, including stops during the second-quarter defensive series that helped Benton erase its deficit.
