Stuttgart used a blistering second half to pull away from rival DeWitt, 56–28, Friday at Ned Moseley Stadium. Junior quarterback Cain Price powered the Ricebirds’ surge, accounting for six touchdowns—four through the air and two on the ground—while senior kicker Dawson McKelvey went a perfect 8-for-8 on PATs. Price’s chemistry with receivers Quarterion “QT” Johnson and Jeremiah Jackson repeatedly stressed the Dragons, and Beau Barnes set the defensive tone early off the edge.

DeWitt answered in kind for much of the third quarter. Senior Korri Graham ran with purpose behind a surging front, scoring twice after halftime and handling the kicking duties, while junior quarterback Xavier “Xa” Cox totaled two touchdowns, including a deep strike to Raedric Frye.
