BOONEVILLE — Booneville turned a shaky start into a runaway, scoring six first‑half touchdowns to defeat Greenland 42–7 in a 3A‑1 matchup at Bearcat Stadium on Friday night. The Bearcats lost three early possessions to miscues, but their vaunted ground game quickly reset the tone.

Running back Brody Chambers popped the lid with a 63‑yard burst, and quarterback Rhett Nietert followed with keepers of 14 and 50 yards to make it 21–0 late in the first. Conner Droemer then housed a 60‑yard sweep on his first carry, Callen Montalvo weaved in from 19, and Rylie Swint tip‑toed 10 yards after Jasper Meeker’s 40‑yard catch set up first‑and‑goal. Kicker Oliver Loaeza converted five PATs, while Hayden Daniel powered in a two‑point try.

Booneville’s front seven smothered the Pirates, with constant pressure from Braxton Hubble and company and steady tackling from linebacker Seth Wilson and edge man Clint Osborne.
