Clinton overwhelms Ozark to finish regular season on a surge

OZARK — Clinton jumped ahead early and never trailed, pairing a bruising ground game with timely shots through the air to close the regular season with a 52–30 win Friday. Senior fullback/linebacker Zach Hunt‑Gonzalez powered the Yellowjackets with three rushing touchdowns, while senior quarterback Brodie Dufrene hit Sam Standridge for a 73‑yard score and later snuck in from a yard out.

Clinton’s defense set the tone. Senior linebacker Briar Gadberry shot a gap to stuff a two‑point try and was disruptive throughout, forcing Ozark into long-yardage downs. On special teams, kicker Dereck Infante was perfect—7 PATs and a 29‑yard field goal just before halftime.

Ozark answered behind junior Easton Fox, whose physical running produced a third‑quarter touchdown, and sophomore John Skolarski, who broke a 14‑yard scoring run late in the first half.
