No. 3 Warren (4-1, 2-0) at No. 7 HAMBURG (4-1, 2-0): Warren has lost to Hamburg once since Bo Hembree became head coach in 2000. But Hamburg has one of the state’s most explosive offenses, averaging more than 54 points weekly. Senior RB Nikel Lewis (22-250 rushing, 4 TDs) sparked last week’s 57-34 win over Helena, while QB Kaeden Thomas completed 15 of 19 passes for 200 yards and 3 TDs (all 3 to Keovion Brown) and ran for 102 yards.
Warren trailed rival Monticello 23-13 in the fourth quarter last week before rallying for a 27-23 victory. Senior Bleyze Fellows snagged the winning 51-yard TD pass in the final minute. Fellows finished with 202 yards and 2 TDs. Senior middle linebacker Louis Woods continues to lead the Lumberjacks defense. “They are so athletic and have great receivers,” Hamburg Coach Blake Johnson says. “We have to keep them in front of us.”

Lincoln (2-3, 0-2) at No. 2 ELKINS (4-1, 2-0): Elkins has won all 12 of its matchups with Lincoln and enters this game after beating Berryville 61-0 a week ago. QB Ben Napier passed for 205 yards and 3 TDs, while Connor Hamm ran for 67 yards and 2 TDs. Brad Napier caught 5 passes for 65 yards and 1 TD, and Hunter Smith ran for 2 TDs. Linebacker SR Williams (4 tackles) and Smith (3 tackles, 2 sacks) led on defense. Lincoln lost at Gentry 49-25 a week ago after trailing 35-7 at halftime. Isiah Whitlock caught 2 passes for 56 yards.
GRAVETTE (2-3, 1-1) at Huntsville (2-3, 1-1): Gravette senior QB Cameron Bedwell completed 5 of 6 passes for 139 yards and 3 TDs in the first half of last week’s 55-7 win over Green Forest. Junior Joseph Beem led the rushing attack (8-113, 2 TDs), while junior Cade Phillips was the top receiver (2-102, 1 TD). Junior DL Colton Priebe registered 6 tackles, including 1 sack and 3 TFLs. Huntsville lost at Prairie Grove a week ago 50-13.
PRAIRIE GROVE (2-3, 2-0) at Berryville (3-2, 0-2): Prairie Grove has won 20 of the past 22 over Berryville, including 62-3 last season. The Tigers thumped Huntsville 50-13 last week. Senior FB Elijah Sugg and senior RB Blake Coughran each rushed for a TD. Senior QB Isaac Moss and TE/WR Tylen Laycock also played well. Berryville has lost consecutive games (including 61-0 at Elkins a week ago) after starting with a 3-0 record.
GENTRY (4-1, 1-1) at Green Forest (2-3, 0-2): Gentry has won 8 of the past 11 over Green Forest, including 28-0 a year ago. Gentry notched a 49-25 win over Lincoln a week ago. Sophomore RB/LB Ethan Meyers had a huge game (2 rushing TDs, 1 receiving TD, 19 tackles on defense). Junior RB/DB Atreyu Banks ran for 64 yards, and had 11 tackles and returned an interception for a TD. C.J. Bolinger intercepted 2 passes, returning 1 for a TD. Green Forest lost at Gravette last week 55-7.

No. 13 MILLS (4-1, 1-1) at Forrest City (2-3, 1-1): Mills played without 3 injured starters and suspended coach Cortez Lee in last week’s shocking 17-14 home loss to Heber Springs. The Comets failed to score in the first half, but tied the game at 14-14 in the third quarter on a scoop and score from senior DE Isaiah Chambers and a 6-yard TD run from sophomore Torrance Talbot. The Comets had 2 possessions in the final 5 minutes to either tie or take the lead, but they had too many penalties and lost-yardage plays (including a 4th-and-52 situation on the final play that resulted in a sack). Forrest City steamrolled Hall Steam last week 50-6. Senior Kevin Young ran 9 times for 165 yards and 3 TDs, while QB Kendrick Patterson passed for 76 yards and 2 TDs.
Riverview (1-4, 1-1) at LONOKE (3-2, 2-0): Lonoke has won 7 of the 9 meetings with Riverview. The Jackrabbits beat Bald Knob 47-13 a week ago behind QB Dylan Dean (143 yards passing, 3 TDs) and WR Trey Jackson (4-51-2 TD, 1 punt return for TD). Junior LB Ryder Ingle made 10 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and returned a kickoff for a TD. Riverview lost 62-0 last week to CAC.
Bald Knob (1-4, 0-2) at HEBER SPRINGS (2-3, 2-0): Heber Springs has won 10 of the past 16 over Bald Knob, including 48-6 last season. The Panthers surprised previously unbeaten Mills 17-14 last week. Sophomore Golden Tate nailed the winning 30-yard field goal with almost 9 minutes left, and the Panthers’ defense stuffed Mills on its final 2 possessions. Junior QB Lachlan Tubbs threw 2 TD passes to senior Seth Dudeck. Bald Knob trailed Lonoke 27-6 in the third quarter last week before losing 47-13.
Hall Steam (0-5, 0-2) at CAC (1-4, 1-1): Central Arkansas Christian has beaten Hall Steam the past 3 seasons, but the past 2 years the game was decided by 13 points or fewer. CAC beat Riverview 62-0 last week for its first win. QB/WR Jackson Plumlee threw 2 TD passes, ran for 1 and returned a punt for another TD in the first half vs. Riverview. Andrew Lowe caught 1 TD pass and recorded 7 tackles (4 TFLs). DL Jackson Allen (5 tackles, 1 fumble recovery for TD) and Damien Wicker (8 tackles, including 2 sacks) spearheaded the Mustangs defense. Winless Hall Steam has been outscored 233-12 this season.

Jonesboro Westside (1-4, 0-2) at No. 6 SOUTHSIDE (5-0, 1-0): Jonesboro Westside hung with Blytheville last week before running out of steam in a 26-0 loss. The Warriors were sacked 4 times and 13 times were tackled behind the line of scrimmage. Unbeaten Southside didn’t play last week, and 2 weeks ago handled Pocahontas 34-20 behind QB Trey Allen (205 yards passing, 2 TDs; 168 yards rushing, 2 TDs). Outside linebacker Dredyn Hulsey averages 1 sack per game. Senior Braden Simpson has been limited to defense the past 2 games due to an injury, but will play offense this week for the first time this season.
No. 15 HIGHLAND (3-2, 1-1) at No. 19 Blytheville (3-1, 1-0): Highland’s 44-20 win over Blytheville last fall snapped a 3-game losing streak to the Chickasaws. The Rebels ran over Trumann last week, 60-14. Junior QB Austin Christy passed for 359 yards and 4 TDs. Junior WR Jimmy Jensen (5-107, 1 TD) and senior Nate Huckabee (7-127, 2 TDs) were matchup problems for Trumann’s secondary. Blytheville beat Jonesboro Westside 26-0 a week ago, with senior Courtney Rogers running for 3 TDs.
No. 12 GOSNELL (6-0, 2-0) at Trumann (2-3, 1-1): Undefeated Gosnell racked up 531 yards (384 rushing, 147 passing) in last week’s 48-28 win over Pocahontas. Senior Kylan Young (25-137 rushing, 2 TDs) and junior J.D. Young (20-153 rushing, 1 TD) led the Pirates rushing attack. Senior Isaiah Donnerson caught 4 passes for 73 yards and 1 TD from junior QB Jamar Allen, who completed 11 of 15 passes. Trumann trailed Highland 36-8 in the third quarter last week before losing 60-14. The Wildcats ran for 214 yards but didn’t complete a pass. Senior Arzell Rulford (9-147 rushing, TD) led on offense; senior Isaiah Carrillo (7 tackles) led on defense.

No. 11 Clinton (5-0, 2-0) at No. 1 DARDANELLE (5-0, 2-0): League coaches voted these teams to finish first and second in the conference in the preseason, and they’ve lived up to the hype so far, and this game helps determine the league champion. These teams have played 11 times over the past 25 years, with Dardanelle winning 7 times, including last season 48-12. Clinton’s offensive line powered the Yellow Jackets to a 41-24 win over Pottsville last week. The Yellow Jackets rolled up 404 yards, with senior Rylan Jones running 22 times for 171 yards, and senior Zach Hunt-Gonzalez running for 108 yards and 4 TDs. Top-ranked Dardanelle has won its 2 conference games by a combined 132-0. Senior QB Creed Vega passed for 230 yards and 4 TDs, and ran for 75 yards and 1 TD, and on defense had 4 tackles in last week’s 56-0 win at Waldron. Sophomore Jayvon Chaten ran for 104 yards and 1 TD, and on defense made 3 tackles and 1 fumble recovery, while his brother senior Rod Chaten caught 5 passes, including 1 for a TD. Sophomore CJ Cursh accounted for 135 yards and 2 TDs and made 8 tackles. Victor Moreno drilled all 8 of his extra points, and senior OL/DL Paden Davis earned an 88-percent blocking grade and registered 7 tackles.
No. 9 OZARK (4-1, 2-0) at No. 20 Mena (4-1, 1-1): Ozark led Dover 50-7 in the second quarter last week en route to winning 71-7. Junior QB Cade Capp completed all 8 of his passes for 174 yards and 2 TDs in the first half, and he ran for a TD. Sophomore John Skolarski (4-82 rushing, 2 TDs) and junior Lawson Wright (4-81 rushing, 2 TDs) led the Hillbillies rushing attack. Mena bounced back from a loss to Pottsville 2 weeks ago with a 21-0 win at Lamar last week. Senior LB Ryder House led the Bearcats with 21 tackles; junior DB Chance Hughes returned an interception for a TD. Junior DE Max Dollarhyde recorded 9 tackles, including 1 sack, and he forced and recovered a fumble.
LAMAR (2-3, 0-2) at Dover (0-5, 0-2): Lamar lost to Mena 21-0 last week. Junior FB Corbin Cowell led the Warriors’ rushing attack with 18 carries for 96 yards. Junior LB Rylan Mendez (15 tackles, 1 forced fumble) and senior safety Eli Jones (10 tackles) led Lamar’s defense. Dover has scored 13 points in the past 4 games.
Waldron (0-5, 0-2) at No. 16 POTTSVILLE (3-2, 1-1): Pottsville has won 10 of its 11 matchups with Waldron, including 61-20 last fall. Pottsville hung with Clinton last week before losing 41-24. The Apaches surrendered 404 yards. Waldron has lost its 2 conference games vs. Ozark and Dardanelle by a combined 113-6.

Fountain Lake (2-3, 0-2) at No. 5 ARKADELPHIA (4-1, 1-1): Arkadelphia bounced back from a 1-point loss to Nashville in Week 4 to double up Bauxite 42-21 a week ago. The Badgers led 21-0 in the first half, then were tied 21-21 in the third quarter before scoring three unanswered TDs. Caden Whitaker led the Badgers’ rushing attack with 137 yards and 1 TD. Orion Roberts snagged 3 passes for 100 yards, including a 79-yard TD reception late in the game. Malachi Hamilton led Arkadelphia’s defense with 9 tackles and 1 forced fumble, while OLB Skyler McClure had 9 tackles, including 1 sack. Fountain Lake lost at Nashville last week, 62-26. Junior receivers Peyton Harwood and Kaise Haire each caught 2 TD passes.
MALVERN (3-2, 2-0) at Ashdown (1-4, 1-1): Malvern has won 10 of the past 17 over Ashdown. Malvern has beaten Genoa Central and favored HG Haskell by a combined 72-21 the past 2 weeks after starting the season 1-2. Senior QB Kyler Wright threw an early TD pass to spark the Leopards. Ashdown picked up its first win a week ago, beating Genoa Central 47-18. QB Riley Williamson accounted for 338 yards (241 passing, 97 rushing) and 5 TDs. Bryson French caught 6 passes for 99 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for 88 yards and 1 TD.
No. 4 NASHVILLE (3-2, 2-0) at No. 10 Bauxite (3-2, 1-1): Nashville has won its past 16 matchups with Bauxite, including last fall 24-13. Bauxite trailed Arkadelphia 21-0 last week before tying the game 21-21 in the third quarter. Trailing 28-21 in the fourth quarter, the Miners dropped a pass on fourth-and-short. Bauxite freshman QB Wyatt Foreman passed for 145 yards and ran for 77 yards and 1 TD. Nashville beat Fountain Lake last week 62-26. Sophomore QB Jacoby Hopson ran for 174 yards and 2 TDs and passed for 1 TD, while Tucker Dixon ran for 145 yards and 2 TDs. Jaydeon Williamson returned an interception 51 yards for a TD, and Jacob Teague returned an interception 52 yards for a TD. The Scrappers have scored 5 defensive TDs this fall.
HG HASKELL (3-2, 1-1) at Genoa Central (1-4, 0-2): Haskell must bounce back after last week’s 35-21 loss at Malvern. Cam Taylor led the Cardinals’ rushing attack with 16 carries, 122 yards and 1 TD, while Mike Zambrano had rushing and passing TDs. Genoa Central yielded 474 yards in last week’s 47-18 loss to Ashdown.

MONTICELLO (1-4, 0-2) at Star City (0-5, 0-2): Star City has won 7 of the past 13 over Monticello, but the Billies notched a 22-7 victory a year ago. Monticello must recover from last week’s heartbreaking 27-23 loss to rival Warren. QB Jackson Hines passed for 154 yards and 1 TD and ran for 97 yards in the loss; Joseph Accelus ran 26 times for 122 yards and 1 TD. Jax Rawls led the Billies receivers with 8 catches for 82 yards. Winless Star City trailed DeWitt 27-0 in the third quarter last week before losing 42-16.
No. 17 DeWitt (4-1, 1-1) at No. 8 STUTTGART (5-0, 2-0): The battle of Arkansas County has playoff implications this year. DeWitt has won 2 in a row over the Ricebirds (by 3 points in the 2019 opener and by 25 points last year). DeWitt dumped Star City last week 42-16. Senior Korri Graham ran 7 times for 163 yards and 2 TDs, and returned an interception 48 yards for a TD. Travis London ran for 2 TDs and averaged 42 yards per kickoff return. “DeWitt does enough on offense to keep you from keying on Graham,” Stuttgart coach Josh Price says. “But he makes them go, he’s their dude.” Stuttgart senior QT Johnson caught 4 passes for 135 yards and 2 TDs in last week’s 58-20 win (led 31-0 in the first quarter) at Crossett. Junior QB Cain Price passed for 258 yards and 4 TDs and ran for a TD. The Ricebirds’ defensive line played its best game of the season at Crossett.
Crossett (2-3, 1-1) at HELENA (2-3, 0-2): Crossett has won 10 of the past 16 over Helena. But Crossett struggled to slow Stuttgart last week (trailed 31-0 in the first quarter and 52-7 at halftime). Senior LB Jackson Mills led the Eagle defense with 12 tackles. Helena lost a shootout at Hamburg last week 57-34. Junior RB/LB Keavan Brown (350-pound bench press) stood out with 17 carries for 123 yards, and he recorded 7 tackles, including 2 sacks.
