TEXARKANA — Texas High hit big plays early and finished with poise late, outlasting Fayetteville 42–29 in a nonconference showcase Friday. Senior QB Kameron Wrightner guided the Tigers with three touchdown passes, two to senior Xavier Powell (WR/SS), and another to senior Tradarian Ball (RB/WR). Junior Ian Delk stayed perfect on special teams, converting all six PATs. Powering the ground game, senior Ahmad Moore iced it with a late cutback score behind junior left tackle Donquavieus Ford (6-5, 295).

Fayetteville answered behind junior QB Hank Hendrix (17-of-29, 201 yards) and a punishing run game. Senior Kaleb Johnson (RB) piled up 108 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns, and senior Kinyun Johnson (WR/DB) sprinted 31 yards on a jet sweep to briefly put the Bulldogs ahead 29–28.
