FAYETTEVILLE - Razorback fans can take in eight University of Arkansas athletic events, including a nationally televised spring football game, a three-game conference series in baseball and softball and a women's tennis showdown, as part of Woo Pig Spring Weekend set for April 15-17.

Throughout the weekend, Razorback fans can see some of the University of Arkansas' most successful athletic programs compete in outstanding facilities like Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Baum Stadium at George Cole Field, Bogle Park and the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center.

The weekend begins April 15 with baseball against Mississippi State at 6:30 p.m. and softball taking on South Carolina at 7 p.m. The women's tennis team begins action on April 16 when it hosts LSU at Noon. Softball continues its series against the Gamecocks at noon and the spring game presented by Cox Advanced TV will begin at 2 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN. First pitch of the second baseball game against Mississippi State is set for 6 p.m. The weekend concludes Sunday with softball taking on South Carolina and baseball facing Mississippi State at 1 p.m.

"We are inviting our fans to join us on campus for a full weekend of Razorback Athletics," Arkansas vice chancellor and director of athletics Jeff Long said. "It will be a marquee weekend for the University of Arkansas and the Razorback program with the spring game being televised nationally on ESPN for the first time in school history. In addition, our baseball, softball and women's tennis teams will be competing at home in key Southeastern Conference match-ups. The Woo Pig Spring Weekend is a great opportunity to cheer on the Razorbacks while experiencing all the excitement of intercollegiate athletics."

For $35 fans can purchase the Woo Pig Spring Weekend package that includes a reserved ticket to all three baseball games ($30 value), general admission seating for all three softball games ($12 value) and exclusive access to the South Outdoor Club seating area for the spring football game.

At 2 p.m. on Saturday, the Razorback football team will conclude its spring drills with the annual spring game at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. General admission seating for the spring football game is available at no charge.

In addition to Razorback home athletic contests, Champions for Kids announces Abbott Nutrition RazorFest. The seventh annual free family event will begin outside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium with a kickoff rally at 10 a.m. and activities will continue until 2 p.m. The Champions for Kids event includes fun zone, games, music, mascots, giveaways and an autograph session with many Razorback greats.
