No. 10 Prescott at No. 14 Parkers Chapel

 
Prescott started the year 1-2 after a tough non-conference schedule that included Class 4A No. 2 Nashville and 5A No. 13 Hope. Prescott is balanced on offense, averaging 122 yards rushing and 138 yards passing per game. Prescott sophomore RB Daniel McCoy leads the Curley Wolves with 256 yards rushing, and junior WR Ke'Andrae Ballance averages a team-high 58 yards receiving per game. Parkers Chapel enters Week 7 undefeated, thanks to an improved defense. The Trojans have allowed 48 points this year; they allowed 265 points through their first six games a year ago. Parkers Chapel senior QB Jacob Midyett (4.7 speed) has rushed for eight TDs this season.

WEEK 7 PREDICTIONS (favored team in CAPS followed by point spread)
1-3A

CEDARVILLE (3) at Lincoln: After opening with a 35-6 win over Pocola, Okla., Cedarville has dropped five straight to Class 3A No. 20 Paris, No. 25 Mountainburg, No. 15 Lavaca, No. 1 Charleston and Class 4A Pottsville, which just lost to 4A No. 5 Booneville by a TD. In 2008, Cedarville allowed 14 ppg, but it's giving up 23 points per contest this season. Lincoln lost 35-7 at Cedarville a year ago.
CHARLESTON (21) at Greenland: Charleston senior QB Derrick Haney completed seven of 12 passes for 188 yards and two TDs in last week's 35-14 win against Cedarville. Haney has completed 61 percent of his passes this fall for 784 yards and 11 TDs with two interceptions. Greenland scored the most points of any 1-3A team against Charleston in 2008 but still lost 31-28.
MOUNTAINBURG (10) at Elkins: Mountainburg earns its third league victory after beating Greenland 12-7 last week. Elkins last beat Mountainburg 28-6 Week 4, 2006.
Lavaca at MANSFIELD (1): Lavaca looks for its third consecutive victory over Mansfield, but Mansfield puts itself in solid running for second place in the 1-3A with a win.

2-3A
Rose Bud at BARTON (21): Barton ripped Rose Bud 50-26 in 2008. Last week, Barton senior RB Bryan Gause (4.5 speed) ran for 158 yards and a TD, and he returned a kickoff 90 yards for a TD in a 47-20 loss at Harding Academy.
England at BRINKLEY (24): England lost to Brinkley 44-6 a year ago. Brinkley lost to Riverview 24-22 last week when its two-point conversion attempt to tie the game late in the game failed.
Episcopal at RIVERVIEW (14): Episcopal sophomore WR/DB Scotty Thurman and freshman QB/DB Jacob Rowell both returned an interception for a TD in last week's 42-20 win at England. Riverview senior QB Grafton Harrell completed four passes for 68 yards and ran 16 times for 122 yards in last week's 24-22 win at Brinkley.
HARDING ACADEMY (7) at Mayflower: Harding Academy junior QB Seth Keese (86 of 134 attempts for 1,159 yards in 2009) was almost flawless last week, completing 13 of 14 passes for 225 yards and four TDs and running 51 yards for a TD in a 47-20 win over Barton. Mayflower senior QB Jordan Dycus threw two TDs and ran 35 yards for a TD in last week's 42-27 win at Rose Bud.

3-3A
Rivercrest (9) at Cave City: No. 6 Rivercrest junior QB Demoine Brown ran for 105 yards and a TD and passed for a TD in last week's 19-14 win over No. 8 Earle. Cave City senior RB Tyler Engleman rushed for 237 yards and three TDs on 25 carries in last week's 31-6 win against Manila.
Corning at HARRISBURG (35): Corning lost 28-13 against Harrisburg in 2008. Harrisburg junior RB Zach Pretty carried the ball 20 times for 105 yards and three TDs in last week's 34-0 win at Piggott.
EARLE (40) at Manila: Earle senior RB Mike Wilson rushed for 140 yards on 30 carries in last week's 19-14 loss at Rivercrest. Manila allows 41 ppg; it lost 31-6 at Cave City last week.
HOXIE (28) at Piggott: Hoxie sophomore RB Sebastian Irvin ran for three TDs and averaged 8.9 yards per carry in last week's 41-0 win over Corning. Piggott has lost its first three league games by a combined score of 102-0.

4-3A
Yellville-Summit at ATKINS (10): Yellville-Summit lost 48-29 to Atkins in 2008. Atkins picks up its third conference victory after losing 36-0 last week at Green Forest.
Green Forest at LAMAR (12): Green Forest's 24-14 win against Lamar last year gave the Tigers a share of the league title. Third-ranked Lamar's running attack generated 418 yards last week and its defense recovered two fumbles, recorded five sacks and two interceptions in a 53-14 win at Marshall.
PARIS (30) at Marshall: Paris beat Marshall 20-19 in 2008. Marshall allows 44 ppg; it lost 53-14 last week to Lamar.
PERRYVILLE (29) at Mountain View: Perryville senior RB Tyler McAnally ran for two TDs and averaged 10.8 yards per carry in last week's 42-13 win over Yellville-Summit. Mountain View lost 49-7 at Perryville a year ago.

5-3A
ARKANSAS BAPTIST (14) at Centerpoint: Arkansas Baptist junior QB Jon Moon completed 10 passes for 139 yards and a TD and ran for 98 yards and a TD on 11 carries in last week's 42-13 loss to Jessieville. Centerpoint lost 47-20 at Arkansas Baptist last year.
BAUXITE (7) at Jessieville: Bauxite senior QB Blake Childress and senior RB Steven Brooks combined for 316 yards rushing and five TDs in last week's 40-29 win over Centerpoint. Jessieville senior RB Orlando Sierra ran for 134 yards and a TD in last week's 42-13 win at Arkansas Baptist.
Bismarck at MAGNET COVE (14): Bismarck lost 34-0 against Magnet Cove last year. Magnet Cove averages 32 ppg; it lost 40-14 at Fountain Lake last week.
FOUNTAIN LAKE (17) at Glen Rose: Fountain Lake junior RB Mark Makin (964 yards, 15 TDs in 2009) ran for 195 yards and three TDs and caught a TD pass in last week's 40-14 win against Magnet Cove. Glen Rose senior QB Ethan Holicer completed 13 of 23 passes for 194 yards and two TDs and ran for two TDs in last week's 35-20 win at Bismarck.

7-3A
CAMDEN HARMONY GROVE (13) at Lafayette County: Harmony Grove beat Lafayette County 19-0 in 2008. Lafayette County allows 36 ppg; it lost 49-0 at Prescott last week.
RISON (40) at Fouke: Rison sophomore RB Raphael "Rock" Caldwell ran for three TDs, and the Wildcats held Gurdon to one first down in last week's 43-0 win against Gurdon. Fouke, which lost 46-0 at Rison a year ago, has not scored this season.
PRESCOTT (6) at Parkers Chapel: See 3A Game of the Week.
Gurdon at DREW CENTRAL (3): Gurdon beat Drew Central 47-14 last year. Drew Central averages 13 ppg; it lost 28-0 against Parkers Chapel last week.
