GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 10 Searcy at No. 11 Mountain Home
Searcy, under first-year coach Tim Harper, is headed to the postseason for the first time since 2003. Searcy (five wins the past five seasons) scored its biggest win of the year Week 5 in an upset of No. 7 Parkview 21-20. Last week the Lions exploded for their highest point total of the year, crushing Hall 45-0. Searcy sophomore Desmond Stegall (6-2, 185) scored three touchdowns, and the Searcy defense held Hall to 11 yards and two first downs. Mountain Home dominated Searcy 42-20 a year ago.
Mountain Home started 4-0-1 but has lost four straight. The Bombers have been outscored by opponents 122-38 the past month. Last week Mountain Home allowed Parkview to rush for 281 yards. The Bombers amassed 253 yards but committed four first-half fumbles, spotting Parkview a 26-0 lead. Junior quarterback Tommy Felicca (5-10, 150) passed for 74 yards and rushed for 93.
TV SHOW
Hooten's Arkansas Football airs weekly at 11 a.m. Saturday on KFSM in Fort Smith/Fayetteville and Today's THV 11 in Little Rock. The Class 6A games scheduled to be featured this week include West Memphis at LR Parkview, Benton at Watson Chapel, and El Dorado at Pine Bluff.

SEARCY (1) at Mountain Home: Game of the Week. The Lions are headed back to the playoffs for the first time since 2003. Mountain Home finishes fifth with a victory.
MARION (12) at Jacksonville: Marion QB Justin Carlow connected with Jonathan Millikin for a 57-yard TD, but the Patriots had two punts blocked and a fumbled a snap in 18-15 loss to Jonesboro.
LR Hall at JONESBORO (35): Jonesboro's Luke Ferguson booted a 23-yard, game-winning field goal with 6:36 remaining to defeat Marion 18-15.
LR Parkview at WEST MEMPHIS (27): Parkview RB Chris McClendon rushed for four TDs as the Patriots blasted Mountain Home 33-14 last week. West Memphis QB Robert Sorrell completed six of seven passes for 121 yards and one TD in a 42-0 thrashing of Jacksonville. West Memphis has outscored conference opponents 256-51 (26 of the 51 came against Jonesboro.)
6A SOUTH
Benton at WATSON CHAPEL (30): Watson Chapel's RB Nycholas Vanderbilt carried 11 times for 100 yards and two scores as Watson Chapel blanked Sheridan 34-0 last week.
EL DORADO (6) at Pine Bluff: El Dorado running back John Milles slashed Benton for 132 yards and a TD on 10 carries in last week's 33-0 win.
Pine Bluff scored on offense, defense, and special teams in defeating Fair 30-6 in a pouring rainstorm last week. The Zebras have outscored their last three opponents 112-26.
LR Fair at LAKE HAMILTON (28): Lake Hamilton QB Benson Jordan rushed 16 times for 114 yards last week, but the Wolves fell 21-18 to Texarkana.
Sheridan at TEXARKANA (14): Texarkana shocked Class 6A last week in upset of Lake Hamilton. The Razorbacks' Charles Willis ran for 85 yards and a pair of TDs. Texarkana's D stuffed Lake Hamilton on the 1-yard line three straight times. Sheridan was outgained by 320 yards in a 34-0 loss to Watson Chapel last week.
