Brinkley at CORNING

New-look Brinkley heads north to take on unsanctioned No. 1 Corning, who returns nearly every top skill position player including senior twins Haydon and Jakob Cox. The Bobcats also welcome back senior defensive linemen Peyton Cartwright and Lucas Whitworth after each finished last season with 8 sacks a piece. Sophomore quarterback Alande Davis looks to get Brinkley off to a hot start on the road.

Guy-Perkins at MARSHALL

Guy-Perkins, led by first-year head coach Cody Cassell, is looking to steal a road victory over Marshall in the program’s inaugural game. While the Thunderbirds hope to get their program started off strong, Marshall has plenty to prove after dropping their final eight games last fall.

Rose Bud at CEDAR RIDGE 

Cedar Ridge returns top performers Aiden Jones and Jace McNeil, plus junior Jonas Elms. Rose Bud and second-year coach Garrett Haag bring in an inexperienced squad with redemption on its mind after falling 48-22 to the Timberwolves a year ago. 

Southwest Christian Academy at SUBIACO ACADEMY

Subiaco Academy is now led by BJ Applegate after Adam Creek left to join the staff at Russellville in June. The Trojans lost a host of production, headlined by do-it-all athlete Brody Koch, but return Koch’s brother, Landon, who is the squad’s leading returning tackler.
