No. 9 Greenbrier at No. 2 LR Christian
A battle of unbeatens. Greenbrier blasted Beebe and Heber Springs in its two games by a combined 67-23, while LR Christian beat Batesville and Vilonia by a combined 80-21 (led Batesville 37-0 at halftime and Vilonia 43-0).
Greenbrier puts up 442 yards per game. Senior Andrew Johnson completed 41 of 67 passes this year for 619 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. Senior Seth Howard has 14 carries for 96 yards and a pair of TDs this fall while hobbled with an ankle injury. Junior Brody Johnson paces the receivers with nine catches for 185 yards and a TD. Junior Ryan Barnard paces an improved defense with 26 tackles, while lineman Nick Allen has 13 stops.
LR Christian senior QB Justice Hill accounted for 345 yards (294 yards passing) and four TDs against Batesville and passed for 214 yards and two TDs and ran for two TDs at Vilonia. Junior receiver Chris Hightower caught an 87-yard TD pass against Batesville and a 33 yarder against Vilonia. First-year coordinator Lance Clark has the Warrior defense stunting and playing aggressively. Sophomore linebacker Corey Platt paces the Warriors in tackles. “They are the most athletic team we've faced,” Greenbrier coach Randy Tribble says. “Hill adds a different dimension at quarterback that we haven't seen.”

Greenbrier at LR CHRISTIAN (7): Hootens.com Class 5A Game of the Week.
LR PARKVIEW (6) at Rogers: These teams have never played, but Little Rock Parkview coach Brad Bolding was the defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Rogers from 2001-2004. LR Parkview led Class 7A Springdale by one point at halftime Week 1 and failed on the potential winning two-point conversion in the final minutes of last week's one-point loss at Class 6A Marion. Rogers lost to Class 4A No. 2 Joe T. Robinson 35-14 Week 1 (trailed 35-0 at halftime) and last week's game with LR Central was canceled in the first half.
LR MCCLELLAN (30) at LR Fair: LR McClellan has forfeited two wins over LR Fair in the past five years. LR McClellan senior Derrick Lloyd ran 14 times for 149 yards and two TDs in last week's 20-point win over Sylvan Hills.
MAUMELLE (21) at Mills: Mills' game last week with LR Hall was cancelled because of lightening. Maumelle led Vilonia 43-8 at halftime a week ago. Senior QB Tyler Maxwell has passed for 576 yards, five TDs and no interceptions this fall, while senior Darius Thompson averages 10.6 ypc and has four TDs.
WHITE HALL (3) at Sheridan: White Hall has won 10 of the past 17 in the series. The Bulldogs have played one game this year, losing to Dumas Week 1 by 13 points (last week's game with Crossett was canceled in the first half). Senior QB Josh Looney passed for 246 yards and a TD against Dumas. Sheridan beat Mountain Home Week Zero and was mercy-ruled at Searcy Week 1. The Yellowjackets average 238 yards weekly.
BEEBE (10) at Vilonia: Beebe rushes for 243 yards weekly. Senior Taylor Boyce has 60 carries for 302 yards and a pair of TDs. Vilonia has been outscored 86-8 in the first half of its two losses this year.
PULASKI ACADEMY (16) at Parkway Bossier (La.): The Bruins play an out-of-state opponent for the second straight week (beat Memphis Ridgeway 56-35 a week ago). The Bruins led 49-14 at halftime. PA beat Parkway Bossier last season by 41 points.
Watson Chapel is open.
5A EAST
PARAGOULD (3) at Trumann: A battle of winless teams. Trumann has won eight of the past 17 in the series. Trumann was tied with Shiloh Christian 7-7 in the first quarter last week after returning an interception for a TD, but the Wildcats held the Saints to just 14 points in the first half. Paragould sophomore David Williams ran 37 times for 295 yards Week 1 against Rivercrest.
Helena at FORREST CITY (2): Forrest City has won six of the past 10 in the series. The Mustangs mercy-ruled youthful Dollarway a week ago. Forrest City puts up 324 yards weekly. Junior Kadarius Akins has rushed for 285 yards and four TDs this fall. Undefeated Helena averages 367 yards weekly. Junior receiver Ahmaud Jones has three catches for 57 yards and a pair a TDs in 2018.
MARION (4) at Blytheville: The home team has won each of the past four years. Two years ago, Marion turned the ball over six times in a three-point setback in Mississippi County. Marion junior Kentreal Jones ran for three TDs in last week's one-point win over LR Parkview. Blytheville trailed West Memphis 21-0 at halftime last week, and the Chicks threw four interceptions.
Wynne at WEST MEMPHIS (10): Wynne led Arkadelphia 14-0 at halftime last week before winning by seven points. Senior Jadacus Nelson ran for a pair of fourth quarter TDs (98 and 46 yards). West Memphis led Blytheville 35-0 in the third quarter a week ago, and the Blue Devil D intercepted four passes.

5A SOUTH
LAKE HAMILTON (14) at Hot Springs: Lake Hamilton has won seven of the past nine in the series, including two straight by a combined 63-24. Lake Hamilton junior Malik Brewer ran 10 times for 134 yards and two TDs in last week's 46-point win over Malvern. Hot Springs hasn't scored a point this season.
HS LAKESIDE (6) at Malvern: Malvern has beaten HS Lakeside the past two seasons. But the winless Leopards have been outscored 68-10 in the past six quarters after leading Glen Rose 9-0 at halftime Week 1. HS Lakeside lost to Class 6A Lake Hamilton in the final minutes Week 1, then allowed the loss to carry over in last week's 13-point setback to Fountain Lake. The Rams threw an interception on the first play of the game. “We threw the ball to the wrong people and acted like we didn't know what was going on,” Coach Jared McBride says.
Hope at PRESCOTT (24): Hope has lost 23 straight games and the Bobcats have lost 12 of its past 18 against Prescott. Prescott senior QB Ryan Robinson has passed for 196 yards and two TDs and ran for a TD this year.
LR MCCLELLAN (30) at LR Fair: LR McClellan has forfeited two wins over LR Fair in the past five years. LR McClellan senior Derrick Lloyd ran 14 times for 149 yards and two TDs in last week's 20-point win over Sylvan Hills.
JOE T. ROBINSON (12) at Camden Fairview: Camden Fairview senior Demetrius Moore sacked Hamburg's QB, forcing a fumble that was returned for the winning TD with five seconds left in last week's 25-19 victory. Joe T. Robinson didn't play last week after mercy ruling Class 7A Rogers Week 1. Senator senior lineman Zach Williams has 18 tackles and two sacks this season.

5A WEST
Greenbrier at LR CHRISTIAN (7): Hootens.com Class 5A Game of the Week.
Huntsville at ELKINS (3): Huntsville forced a turnover near the goal line late in the fourth quarter last week to preserve a seven-point triumph at Berryville. Sophomore Slayter Watkins ran for 79 yards and a pair of TDs, helping the Eagles rally from a one-point fourth-quarter deficit. Elkins junior QB Quinn McClain has passed for 404 yards and seven TDs with zero interceptions this year.
FARMINGTON (7) at Pea Ridge: Undefeated Farmington uses multiple QB's and spreads the ball around while averaging 40 points weekly. Senior QB Eric Hill has passed for 150 yards and three TDs in 2018, while classmate Seth Swain has connected on four of six passes for 57 yards and a TD. Senior running back Reid Turner has scored three TDs, while junior Drew Sturgeon has four receptions for 93 yards and a TD. Winless Pea Ridge puts up 265 yards per game. Junior QB Tate Bussey has passed for 247 yards and two TDs (but has five interceptions) and rushed for 75 yards and a pair of TDs.
BEEBE (10) at Vilonia: Beebe rushes for 243 yards weekly. Senior Taylor Boyce has 60 carries for 302 yards and a pair of TDs. Vilonia has been outscored 86-8 in the first half of its two losses this year.
RUSSELLVILLE (10) at Alma: These teams have split the past six meetings. Winless Alma rushes for just 83 yards per game. But junior Grayson Bailey has eight catches for 156 yards and a pair of TDs. Russellville trailed Class 7A Har-Ber 14-7 at halftime last week, but failed to score in the second half of a 20-point setback.
