7A/6A CENTRAL
ALMA (10) at Russellville: Alma's allowed only three points this season. Russellville was shutout last week at Fayetteville.
FS NORTHSIDE (7) at LR Catholic: Northside QB Kenric Burns and receiver Shaquille Jones expose Catholic secondary in a high-scoring match-up. The Rockets allowed 189 yards passing last week at North LR.
LR CENTRAL (6) at Pine Bluff: Central's running backs and linebackers make the Tigers contenders this fall in the 7A Central. Pine Bluff, Hooten's preseason No. 1 in Class 6A, can win by forcing Central to pass.
Rogers Heritage at CONWAY (10): Conway won by 20 last year but its defense is not nearly as good as 2010. Heritage just lost at home to Class 5A Siloam Springs.
Springdale at NORTH LR (14): Springdale can't pass. North LR boasts a fine defensive front.
Texarkana at BRYANT (21): Texarkana threw five interceptions and fumbled six times (losing only two) in last week's loss to Texarkana, Texas. Bryant lost last week at FS Northside 45-40 but showed improvement after squeaking by Benton in the opener.
VAN BUREN (1) at Harrison: Harrison's offense has struggled this season. Van Buren scored late to win at 7A West member Rogers last week.
