HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK
No. 9 McCrory at No. 6 Hazen
Hazen's quick and strong defensive front battles probably the largest line in 2A football. McCrory's offensive line averages 265 pounds, opening running lanes for sophomore RB Logan Best (300 yards, five TDs) and Collin Campbell (300 yards). Senior RB Aaron Daniel badly sprained a shoulder in the preseason scrimmage but may be close to 100 percent Friday night. Junior middle linebacker Cody Davis paces the Jaguars in tackles. Hazen counters with senior RB Matt Tenison, who leads the Hornets with 312 yards and 31 tackles. Junior QB Devin Bonds smoothly operates the option, rushing for 218 yards. Senior SS Shane Moore may return this week from an injury but senior tackle Patrick Penn likely returns from a shoulder sprain. Senior DE Andrew Sayger rarely lets offenses get outside him.

TV SHOW
Hooten's Arkansas Football airs at 11 a.m. Saturday on FOX 16 and KFSM Ch. 5, featuring highlights from Harding Academy at Des Arc, McCrory at Hazen and Barton at Carlisle.
