No. 13 Hackett (2-1) at No. 1 BOONEVILLE (1-2): Hackett comes off a bye week. Senior QB Cole Ketchum has passed for 781 yards and 8 TDs in 3 games. Booneville has a losing record, but it holds the No. 1 ranking. The Bearcats took Class 5A Camden Fairview down to the wire. The Bearcats have scored 25 or more points in each of their games so far this season.
3A NONCONFERENCE
No. 6 HOXIE (4-0) at Rison (0-3): Hoxie breezed by Melbourne 42-13 last Friday. Senior QB Kayden Glenn (92 yards passing, 3 TDs; 140 rushing, 1 TD) led offense. Camden Brooks (143 yards rushing, 2 TDs) also contributed. Mustangs Coach Tom Sears says his team's win over Hoxie is another step in the right direction. Winless Rison returns to action after a bye week in search of victory.
BOWIE, TEXAS (2-2) at Smackover (2-2): Smackover plays host to out-of-state competitor Bowie, Texas. Smackover is coming off a 30-0 shutout over 2A Hampton. Friday’s game between the Pirates and Buckaroos will be the first time these two programs have ever faced each other.
1-3A
Greenland (1-2) at No. 4 CHARLESTON (0-3): The Pirates return to action this week after a bye in week 3. Greenland picked up a 14-7 win in their most recent game against 4A Berryville. Brandon Vaughan (167 total yards, 2 TDs, 1 interception) led the way for the Pirates. No. 4 Charleston has played nothing but tough competition so far this season with games against tough class 4A teams Elkins, Ozark and Nashville.
Cedarville (0-3) at LAVACA (3-0): Cedarville lost to 4A Green Forest 24-6, but the Pirates defense did its best to minimize what the Green Forest offense. RB Colton Arnold and WR Reed Peyton came up with some big offensive plays for Cedarville. Lavaca took down 2A Mount Ida 42-21 last week with QB Cutler Winters (12-14 passing, 189 yards, 3 TDs) leading the way for the Golden Arrows. Winters also ran for 133 yards on 7 carries and 2 touchdowns. LB Michael Barwick (3 solo tackles, 8 assisted tackles, 2 fumble recoveries) was the anchor for Lavaca.
West Fork (1-2) at No. 8 MANSFIELD (3-0):West Fork hasn't played since a 34-21 loss to Paris 2 weeks ago. Sophomore Cooper Ridenoure (1 TD passing, 1 TD rushing) led the offense, while Logan Laird and Gavin Looney anchored the defense. Mansfield remains unbeaten after a 48-6 rout of 4A Waldron. Mansfield scored 3 defensive touchdowns: Ethan Martin (78-yard fumble return), Samuel Burton (70-yard fumble return), and Daniel Burton (70-yard interception return) cashed in.
2-3A
Atkins (0-4) at No. 5 SALEM (4-0):Atkins is winless, but was competitive last week in a 48-33 loss to Jessieville. Sophomore QB Cole Crawford (20-35 passing, 265 yards, 4 TDs) led the way. Salem moved up in the rankings after a 28-15 win over Walnut Ridge last Friday. Lukas Downs (2 TDs passing, 1 TD rushing) led the Greyhounds. The Salem defense has yielded 491 yards in 4 games.
No. 10 NEWPORT (1-3) at Quitman (1-2): Newport lost to 4A Trumann 33-6 last week. The Greyhounds have faced the likes of 4A Stuttgart and 5A Beebe as well as Trumann. Quitman comes in off a 63-40 loss to 4A Gentry. QB Jordan Payne-Moore (14-26 passing, 264 yards, 4 TDs) led the Bulldogs.
PERRYVILLE (2-2) at Yellville-Summit (3-0): Perryville beat 2A Episcopal Collegiate 42-6 last week to even its record. Yellville-Summit comes off a 36-35 victory over 2A Mountainburg and remains undefeated. Perryville has won the past 4 matchups against Yellville-Summit.

No. 7 WALNUT RIDGE (3-1) at Palestine-Wheatley (2-1): Walnut Ridge suffered its first loss 28-15 to No. 5 Salem. Jersie Cunningham (55 rushing, 1 TD) and Robbie Tate (39 rushing, 1 TD) led Walnut Ridge. The Bobcats defense held Salem to 169 rushing yards. Walnut Ridge Coach Jeff Blake says he is looking for his team to cut down on turnovers. Palestine-Wheatley won 2 in a row before last week's bye. The Patriots' most recent win came 22-16 against 4A Harrisburg. Anthony Pendleton (228 rushing, 3 TDs) led the offense against Harrisburg.
Piggott (0-4) at MANILA (1-2):Piggott lost 46-8 against 2A Marked Tree last week. Sophomore QB Ben Latimer (6-14 passing, 139 yards), Will Lucas (3-91 receiving), and Walker Johnson (50 rushing, 1 TD) led the offense for Piggott. Manila beat 4A Harrisburg 49-35 for its first win. Drake Morris (240 yards rushing, 4 TDs) and Isaac Moore (136 yards passing, 1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD) led the Lions. Manila Coach Ben Fisher says he believes the key to success this week will be better play in the secondary.
4-3A
Paris (2-1) at GLEN ROSE (1-2) Paris, off last week, beat West Fork 34-21 in Week 2. Dax Baumgartner (4-144 receiving, 3 TDs) and Maddox Watts (9-14 passing, 185 yards, 3 TDs) led the offense. Baumgartner (14 tackles, 1 interception) and Watts ( 6 tackles) also produced on defense. Glen Rose won its first game last week, beating Fordyce 38-7. Senior QB Rein Bland (6-10 passing, 119 yards, 2 TDs) and Heath Ballance (15-119 rushing, TD; 2-64 receiving, 1 TD) led the offense.
Jessieville (2-1) at BISMARCK (2-1) Jesseville beat Atkins 48-33 for its second win. The Lions' other win came in a 47-0 victory over 2A Mount Ida in Week 1. Bismarck had a bye last week after collecting a 41-8 win against 2A Poyen. Ben Keithley (142 yards passing, 2 TDs; 70 rushing yards) led the Lions offense in a half of action. Dalton Daniels (59 yards rushing) and Tony Weeks (49 yards receiving, 1 TD) also helped on offense. Zane Talbert (6.5 tackles) led the defense.
CENTERPOINT (0-3) at Two Rivers (0-3): Centerpoint, in search of its first win, comes off a 40-8 loss against 2A Bigelow. The Knights' best effort to date came in a 17-16 loss to a competitive 4A Mena team. Centerpoint has won the last 3 matchups against Two Rivers, including a 50-0 shutout last season.
No. 9 MAGNET COVE (3-0) at Danville (0-3): Magnet Cove looks to pick up where it left off before last week's bye when it beat 2A Baptist Prep 76-7 in Week 2. Will Thompson (3 tackles, 1 PBU, 3 sacks, 2 TFL), Ethan Ramsey (1 tackle, 2 assists, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception for TD), and Colton Chilcote (PBU, 2 sacks, 4 assisted tackles) smothered the Baptist Prep offense. Willson Ballentine (41-yard TD pass), Cameron Gassman (68 yards rushing) and Luke Harper (89 yards rushing) led the Panthers. Danville lost 48-7 to 2A Hector.
5-3A
Gurdon (2-2) at No. 2 PRESCOTT (3-1):Gurdon was held to 100 offensive yards in a 40-0 loss to Class 2A Murfreesboro last week. Prescott beat 5A Hope 41-38 in overtime. The Curley Wolves have won 7 straight against the Go-Devils, scoring 40 or more points in each of those games.
JUNCTION CITY (2-2) at Fouke (3-1): Junction City exits a 51-20 loss to Haynesfield, La. The Dragons have scored at least 20 points in each of their games, with its largest victory margin coming in a 41-14 win over Lake Village. Fouke crushed 2A Foreman 61-12, the Panthers' second consecutive lopsided win. Fouke won 13-12 last season, but Junction City has won 2 of the past 3.
6-3A
Drew Central (1-3) at No. 3 HARMONY GROVE OUACHITA COUNTY (2-2): Drew Central lost 44-20 to 2A Earle last week, but the Pirates rushed for 309 total yards with Kalani Collins (16-135 rushing, 1 TD) and Jayden Jones (2 rushing TDs) leading the ground attack. Jase Watt caught at TD Pass. Harmony Grove Ouachita County beat 4A Cave City 42-14. Caleb Johnson (7-12 passing, 247 yards, 4 TDs) and Tristen Herndon (2 receiving TDs) led the Hornets offensively. Quinten Jones (13 tackles) led on defense.
Barton (2-2) at FORDYCE (1-3): Barton heads into this week's matchup with Fordyce off a 41-24 loss to 4A Bald Knob. The Bears have scored at least 24 points in 3 consecutive games. Fordyce lost 38-7 against Glen Rose, its third consecutive defeat. Akeem Allen (9 tackles, 3 TFL) led the Red Bugs on defense.
