HOOTENS.COM GAME OF THE WEEK

Dermott (1-2) at STRONG (0-0): Strong, top-ranked among sanctioned teams, will finally take the field. Dermott, coming off a loss to Oklahoma 8-man powerhouse Dewar, has the advantage of 3 games under its belt.

WEEK 4 PREDICTIONS (favored team in ALL CAPS and highlighted)

Augusta (1-2) at WOODLAWN (2-1): Woodlawn rebounded from a loss to Marshall with a lopsided win against first-year program Guy-Perkins. The Bears are hunting consecutive victories for the first time since early October of last season, while Augusta hopes to rebound after a loss to Brinkley.

CORNING (3-1) at Rector (1-0): The Clay County rivals called off their first scheduled meeting on Sept. 6, but will give it another go Friday. Rector was off last week after a season-opening victory over Marshall, while Corning looks to rebound after dropping a hard-fought road contest to Tunica (Miss.) Academy.

Hermitage (0-3) at BRINKLEY (2-1): The winless Hermits hit the road, while the Tigers have won 2 in a row since falling to Corning in Week 0. The Tigers have averaged 69 points in the past 2 games.

South Side Bee Branch (2-0) at MARSHALL (2-2): South Side comes in undefeated, but will face its toughest test yet against Marshall. The Bobcats are riding high following a 6-point double-overtime victory against Subiaco Academy to avenge last season’s loss to the Trojans.

Rose Bud (0-4) at SUBIACO ACADEMY (2-2): Subiaco Academy has lost back-to-back games for the first time in more than 2 years. The winless Ramblers are looking to steal a road win after scoring a season-high 20 points last Friday.
