Class 7A No. 8 Bryant at No. 4 Pine Bluff
These two teams have scrimmaged lately, but Bryant won the last regular-season meeting 30-12 at Pine Bluff in 2007.
Bryant senior quarterback Hayden Lessenberry completed 17 of 25 passes for 271 yards and four touchdowns in last week's 55-14 win over Benton. Lessenberry has passed for almost 4,000 yards in his career. Senior linebacker Tyree Reese paces the Hornets this fall with almost 40 tackles.
Pine Bluff gave up 240 yards passing last week but turned two Texarkana turnovers into points for a 23-17 win. The Zebras forced a safety in the third quarter before senior running backs Walter Ashley and Kelvin Sergeant scored in the fourth quarter. Ashley finished with 24 carries for 237 yards.

7A/6A CENTRAL
CONWAY (42) at LR Hall: Hall has scored 14 points this season and not won since Sept. 16, 2011. Conway's Jeff Anderson (6-0, 220) scored all three TDs in the first half, including a 96-yard kick return, in a 21-7 win at Russellville last week. Anderson rushed for 229 yards two weeks ago in a 31-21 win over Cabot.
GREENWOOD (35) at LR Parkview: Greenwood has won 28 in a row since losing losing Sept. 24, 2010 at Siloam Springs. Parkview has won 27 games since 2005. Greenwood beat FS Northside 56-20 last week, outscoring the Grizzlies 35-6 in the second half. Parkview lost to FS Southside 45-6.
RUSSELLVILLE (11) at FS Northside: Russellville totaled 47 more yards than Conway last week but allowed a 96-yard kick return and lost 21-7. Russellville's defense has not allowed more than 17 points in a game this season. Northside gives up 54 points weekly. Russellville beat Northside 13-7 in their last meeting, the second round of the 2008 playoffs. Russellville won the last four meetings an average of five points.
7A/6A EAST
CABOT (9) at Marion: Dead T meets Diamond T. It should be over by 9 p.m. Marion's Diamond T attack averaged 14 points in losses to Lake Hamilton and Class 5A Wynne. Cabot's Dead T averaged 17.5 points in losses to Conway and North LR the past two Fridays. Marion beat Mountain Home 53-18 last week.
JONESBORO (1) at LR Central: Jonesboro must avoid a letdown after beating West Memphis last week for the second straight season. Central has lost three games in a row since beating LR Catholic 24-10 in the opener.
SEARCY (13) at Mountain Home: Searcy senior QB Antwan Arnold threw two TD passes in the final 90 seconds during last week's 19-14 win over LR Central. Mountain Home allows 40 points per game.
7A/6A SOUTH
BRYANT (14) at Pine Bluff: See Hootens.com Game of the Week.
LR Fair at BENTON (24): Benton has not won more than 3 games each of the past four seasons but has beaten Fair every year, including 50-30 a year ago. Fair has lost 19 straight and 47 of its past 49 games. Benton used the QB power read and other plays it hadn't shown much, or never before this season, to build a 14-0 lead on Bryant last Friday. Senior RB Wallace Foote ran 16 times for 189 yards and two TDs in the 55-14 loss.
Sheridan at EL DORADO (28): Sheridan has not beat El Dorado since the two teams joined the same conference in 1991. El Dorado looking more like the defending 6A champs after losing its first two games. Senior QB Lucas Reed passed for 162 yards and two TDs and ran for two scores in a 44-6 win over LR Fair last week. Sheridan senior QB Dylan Flores passed for 252 yards and two TDs in last week's 49-14 loss to Lake Hamilton.
Texarkana at LAKE HAMILTON (4): Lake Hamilton has won three of the past four meetings since losing to Texarkana 13-0 in the 2007 state championship game. Texarkana's three losses this fall have been by an average of 10 points, including last week's 23-17 setback to Pine Bluff. Lake Hamilton senior RB Cody Smith accounted for 215 total yards and two TDs in last week's 49-14 win over Sheridan.
7A/6A WEST
Siloam Springs at BENTONVILLE (45): Siloam Springs gave up 608 total yards last week in its 7A/6A West debut, a 70-21 loss to Rogers Heritage. Bentonville, riding a 20-game win streak in conference play and starting 16 seniors, grabs 2.75 interceptions weekly. It held Har-Ber to 131 total yards after its first possession last week.
