ARLINGTON, Texas - Arkansas fell Saturday in overtime to No. 6 Texas A&M 35-28 in Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium.

Senior punter Sam Irwin-Hill highlighted the Arkansas scoring efforts with a 51-yard sprint off a successful fake punt. The scamper was the longest rush of his career and his first touchdown.

The Arkansas offense collected 484 total yards, with 285 yards on the ground. Sophomore running back Alex Collins racked-up 131 rushing yards, his seventh 100-plus yard rushing game of his career. Junior running back Jonathan Williams tallied his ninth TD this season and 85 rushing yards.

Senior tight end AJ Derby reached a game-high 58 yards receiving, including a career-long 44-yard reception that gave him his second career touchdown.

Junior quarterback Brandon Allen passed for 199 yards and completed 15-of-27 tosses, including three consecutive completions for 54 yards on Arkansas' TD drive that opened the game.

Senior linebacker Martrell Spaight led the physical Arkansas defense with 13 tackles while sophomore defensive tackle Darius Philon collected seven. Both Philon and Spaight tallied a tackle for a loss of three yards.

Senior defensive end Trey Flowers batted down two passes, while senior cornerback Carroll Washington collected an interception in the fourth quarter. Arkansas' defense allowed just 46 total yards to Texas A&M in the first quarter. It was the fewest yards the Aggies offense has gained in the first quarter since they gained 33 yards in the first quarter at LSU on Nov. 23, 2013.

Texas A&M opened the game with a score, but the Razorbacks quickly retaliated on their next drive. Arkansas marched down the field until Allen handed the ball to Williams who punched in a score from nine yards out.

Following Arkansas' first score, the Razorback defense returned to the field with vengeance. The Razorbacks allowed the Aggies to their own 13 before Philon tackled TAMU's Trey Williams for a three-yard loss. The Razorbacks forced Texas A&M to a three-and-out at its own 10-yard line. The Razorback defense forced the Texas A&M offense into two 3-and-out possessions in the first quarter.

The teams then traded drives until Collins broke free from the line of scrimmage for a 50-yard scamper into the end zone, putting the Razorbacks ahead of the Aggies, 14-7.

The Aggies made one final trip the end zone in the second frame before Arkansas took control of the ball at its own 22. Allen and the Razorbacks inched their way down the field to the 49-yard line where Arkansas deployed its punting squad on a fourth down. Irwin-Hill grabbed the snap and instead of punting he stunned the Aggies with a 51-yard rush into their own end zone, his first career touchdown. Arkansas closed the first half leading Texas A&M, 21-14.

To start the second half, the Razorback defense produced a fourth-down stop to give Arkansas possession. Allen found Derby downfield, tossing a 44-yard score to widen the Razorbacks' lead to 28-14.

The Aggies made two more trips to the end zone to tie the game and push the match-up into overtime, where they clinched the game, 35-28.
